Most Popular Herbs and Supplements in the United States

The use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in the United States continues to expand in 2009. This growth can easily be seen in the current use of herbs and supplements -- sales of glucosamine and chondroitin, supplements used commonly for osteoarthritis, were $288 million dollars last year, and sales of ginkgo, a herb taken to improve blood flow to the brain in conditions where blood flow is insufficient, reached $147 million dollars. Ginkgo also aids is better memory and clarity.

What are these herbs and supplements being used for? Chronic conditions that are difficult to treat or manage with conventional medicine, such as mood disorders, heart disease, arthritis, women's health conditions, and digestive disorders. Below please note, that 3 of the ten most popular herbs are for aid with pre-menopause, menopause or post-menopause. Diet, appropriate rest and exercise is key to the supplements.

It would be interesting to know how many of these products were self-prescribed and how many were recommended by a health practitioner. Consultation with a health practitioner before taking herbs and supplements is always recommended in order to avoid adverse side effects and drug interactions. The other side of this argument is that there are 100,000 misdiagnosed illnesses per year by medical professionals that end up in death and another 100,000 deaths causes by malpractice in hospitals each year. The bottom line is each of us are responsible for our own health.

This article is a continuation of a thought discussed with Pastors and ministers/ by Bishop Jim Earl Swilley on December 3, 2008 at Body Builders at the Church in the Now.

He focused on the 4 major popular Christmas movies by comparing them with each other to show us the epiphanies we discover when we allow ourselves to examine our past, present and future. I took the liberty of researching the most famous popular movies and pulling over information for the on-line encyclopedia to give you a well rounded over-veiw of these movies and the lessons they bring to us every year.’

The first discussion will be featured actor James Stewart and It's a Wonderful Life is a 1946 American film produced and directed by Frank Capra and loosely based on the short story "The Greatest Gift" written by Philip Van Doren Stern.
The film takes place in the fictional town of Bedford Falls shortly after World War II and stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man whose imminent suicide on Christmas Eve gains the attention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers) who is sent to help him in his hour of need. Much of the film is told through flashbacks spanning George's entire life and narrated by Franklin and Joseph, unseen Angels who are preparing Clarence for his mission to save George. Through these flashbacks we see all the people whose lives have been touched by George and the difference he has made to the community in which he lives.
The film is regarded as a classic and is a staple of Christmas television around the world and the spirtitual lesson learned in this movie was much like what Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz learned which was your true happiness and joy is going to come from your community, your friends and within yourself. George Bailey learned that his life truly did make a difference to his town (Bedford Falls), his wife otherwise she would have ended up an unhappy spinster, his brother because George saved his life. It is very much like us when we are at crossroads in our lives and are forced to make difficult decisions. Dorothy said…Oh Auntie Em, there is no place like home. And she was right, there is no place like home because your home is where your heart is.

George Bailey, stated that it truly is a wonderful life. Many of our problems come from our vision, if our eye is unhealthy (our paradigm),our entire being is effected.

Charlie Brown Christmas

On their way to join the rest of the Peanuts gang all skating on a frozen pond, Charlie Brown confides in Linus that even though the holidays are approaching he is still feels depressed despite all the presents and cards and tree decorating. His depression and aggravation only get exacerbated by the goings-on in the neighborhood. Though his mailbox is empty of Christmas cards, he tries sarcastically to thank Violet for the card she "sent" him, though Violet knows she did no such thing.
Charlie Brown (shouting after Violet as she walks away):Don't you know sarcasm when you hear it?
Ultimately Charlie Brown visits Lucy in her psychiatric booth. On her advice, he gets involved in directing a school play about the Nativity. She also sympathizes with Charlie Brown about holiday depression, always getting "a lot of stupid toys" instead of what she really wants: real estate.
On the way to the auditorium, Charlie Brown is drawn to Snoopy, who is frantically and gleefully busy decorating his doghouse. Demanding an explanation, Snoopy hands Charlie Brown a flier about a neighborhood lights and display contest. Charlie Brown walks away in frustration at his own dog's being bitten by the commercial bug. He then gets accosted by Sally, who wants Charlie Brown to take dictation for a letter to Santa, in which she ultimately asks him (Santa) to "just send money", particularly tens and twenties, causing Charlie Brown to run away in exasperation of even his sister's commercial corruption.
Charlie Brown arrives at the rehearsals, but try as he might, he cannot seem to get control of the situation as the uncooperative kids are more interested in modernizing the play with dancing and lively music. Charlie Brown, on the other hand, is determined to not let the play become commercial by directing the traditional side of the story.
Thinking the play requires "the proper mood", Charlie Brown decides they need a Christmas tree. So Lucy takes over the crowd and dispatches Charlie Brown to get a "big, shiny aluminum tree...maybe painted pink". With Linus in tow, Charlie Brown sets off on his quest. But when they get to the tree market, Charlie Brown zeroes in on a small baby tree which, ironically as well as symbolically, is the only real tree on the lot. Linus is reluctant about Charlie Brown's decision, but Charlie Brown is convinced that decorating it will be just right for the play.
They return to the school auditorium with the tree, only to be verbally castigated by everyone, especially Lucy, about his choice of tree. Second guessing himself, Charlie Brown begins to wonder if he really knows what Christmas is about, loudly asking in despair. Linus quietly says he can tell him, and walks to center stage to make his point. Under a spotlight, Linus quotes Scripture, particularly the second chapter of the
Gospel of Luke, verses 8 through 14:
8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Charlie Brown now realizes he does not have to let commercialism ruin his Christmas. (this was very signficant and still is for this simple cartoon to touch millions of lives over the years to simplistic tell the world what the true meaning of Christmas is.

With a newly found sense of inspiration, he quietly picks up the little tree and walks out of the auditorium, intending to take the tree home to decorate and show the others it will work in the play.
On the way, he stops at Snoopy's decorated doghouse, which now sports a first prize blue ribbon for winning the display contest. Letting his dog's commercialism roll off his back, Charlie Brown takes an ornament off the doghouse and hangs it on his tree, but the ornament's weight is too much for the small branch and pulls it to the ground much to Charlie Brown's shock.
Charlie Brown (seeing the ornamented branch droop to the ground):I've killed it. AUGHH! Everything I touch gets ruined! (he walks away, his head hanging in shame)
Unbeknownst to Charlie Brown, the rest of the gang, having also heard Linus' recitative, began to realize they were a little too rough on Charlie Brown and quietly followed him from the auditorium. Linus goes up to the little tree and gently props the drooping branch back to its upright position, ornament and all:
Linus:
I never thought it was such a bad little tree. (wrapping his blanket around the base of the trunk)It's not bad at all, really. Maybe it just needs a little love.
The rest of the kids grab the other decorations off of Snoopy's doghouse and add them to the tree. When they're done, even Lucy concedes to Charlie Brown's choice:
Lucy (in wonderment):Charlie Brown is a blockhead, but he did get a nice tree.
The kids then start humming the traditional Christmas carol, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." When Charlie Brown returns, he demands to know what is taking place. When he sees what they have done with the tree, he cannot believe his eyes, and all the kids shout:

MERRY CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN!

At this point, the kids, now with Charlie Brown, begin singing "Hark.." as the end credits roll... and the snow again begins to fall.
Themes
The story touches on the over-commercialization of Christmas, and serves to remind viewers of the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus Christ, continuing a theme explored by satirists such as Stan Freberg and Tom Lehrer during the 1950s.

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol in Prose, Being a Ghost Story of Christmas (commonly known as A Christmas Carol ) is what Charles Dickens described as his "little Christmas Book and was first published on December 19, 1843 with illustrations by John Leech. The first of the author's five "Christmas books", the story was instantly successful, selling over six thousand copies in one week. Although originally written under financial duress to help Dickens to pay off a debt, the tale has become one of the most popular and enduring Christmas stories of all time.[3]
Contemporaries noted that the story's popularity played a critical role in redefining the importance of Christmas and the major sentiments associated with the holiday. A Christmas Carol was written during a time of decline in the old Christmas traditions. "If Christmas, with its ancient and hospitable customs, its social and charitable observances, were in danger of decay, this is the book that would give them a new lease", said English poet Thomas Hood.

Ebenezer Scrooge encounters "Ignorance" and "Want" in A Christmas Carol.
A Christmas Carol is a Victorian morality tale of an old and bitter miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one night, which if it doesn't change his ways he will end up like his friend Jacob Marley, walking the Earth forever, being nothing but invisible and lonely. Mr. Scrooge is a financier/money-changer who has devoted his life to the accumulation of wealth. He holds anything other than money in contempt, including friendship, love and the Christmas season.

Stave I: Marley's Ghost

Chrstmas Eve, seven years to the day after the death of his business partner Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge and his downtrodden clerk Bob Cratchit are at work in Scrooge’s counting-house. Scrooge's nephew, Fred, arrives with seasonal greetings and an invitation to Christmas dinner, but Scrooge dismisses him with "Bah! Humbug!", declaring that Christmas is a fraud. Two gentlemen collecting charitable donations for the poor are likewise rebuffed by Scrooge, he insists that the poor laws and workhouses are sufficient to care for the poor, and that "If they would rather die [than go there], they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population". As he and his clerk prepare to leave, he grudgingly permits Cratchit one day's paid holiday the following day, but the morning after Christmas he must be there on time, otherwise there will be a deduction from his wages.
Scrooge returns home to his cheerless rooms in an otherwise deserted building, and a series of supernatural experiences begins. His door knocker appears to transform into Marley's face; a "locomotive hearse" seems to mount the dark stairs ahead of him; the pictures on the tiles in his fireplace transform into images of Marley's face. Finally all the bells in the house ring loudly, there is a clanking of chains in the bed and on the floor, and the ghost of Marley passes through the closed door into the room.

The ghost warns Scrooge that if he does not change his ways, he will suffer Marley's fate, but Scrooge's fate would be even worse. He will walk the earth eternally after death, invisible among his fellow men, burdened with chains, seeing the misery and suffering he could have alleviated in his life but now powerless to intervene. Marley has arranged Scrooge's only chance of redemption: three spirits will visit him on successive hours that night, and they may help change him and save him from his fate. As Marley leaves, Scrooge gets a nightmare glimpse of the tormented spectres who drift unseen among the living, and, shattered, he falls into bed.

Stave II: The First of the Three Spirits

The Ghost of Christmas Past, a strange mixture of young and old, male and female, with a light shining from the crown of its head, appears at the stroke of one. It leads Scrooge on a journey to some of his past Christmases, where events shaped his life and character. He sees his late sister Fan, who intervened to rescue him from lonely exile at boarding school, and, recalling his recent treatment of Fan's son Fred, Scrooge feels the first stirrings of regret. They revisit a merry Christmas party given by Fezziwig, Scrooge's kindly apprentice-master, and Scrooge thinks guiltily of his own behaviour toward Bob Cratchit. Finally, he is reminded how his love of money lost him the love of his life, Belle, and the happiness this cost him. Furious, Scrooge turns on the spirit, snuffs it like a candle with its cap, and finds himself crumpling up in his bed sheets and wakes up and feels remorseful.

Stave III: The Second of the Three Spirits

Scrooge wakes at the stroke of two, confused to find it is still night. After a time he rises and finds the second spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Present, in an adjoining room, on a throne made of Christmas food and drink. This spirit, a great genial man in a green coat lined with fur, takes him through the bustling streets of London on the current Christmas morning, sprinkling the essence of Christmas onto the happy populace. They observe the meagre but happy Christmas celebrations of the Cratchit family and the sweet nature of their lame son Tiny Tim, and when the Spirit foretells an early death for the child if things remain unchanged, Scrooge is distraught. He is shown what others think of him: the Cratchits toast him, but reluctantly, and "a shadow was cast over the party for a full five minutes". Scrooge's nephew and his friends gently mock his miserly behaviour at their Christmas party, but Fred maintains his uncle's potential for change, and Scrooge demonstrates a childlike enjoyment of the celebrations.
They travel far and wide, and see how even the most wretched of people mark Christmas in some way, whatever their circumstances. The Ghost, however, grows visibly older, and explains he must die that night. The Ghost tortures Scrooge. He shows Scrooge two pitiful children huddled under his robes who personify the major causes of suffering in the world, "Ignorance" and "Want", with a grim warning that the former is especially harmful. At the end of the visitation, the bell strikes twelve. The Ghost of Christmas Present vanishes and the third spirit appears to Scrooge.
Stave IV: The Last of the Three Spirits

The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come takes the form of a grim spectre, robed in black, who does not speak and whose body is entirely hidden except for one pointing hand. This spirit frightens Scrooge more than the others, and harrows him with a vision of a future Christmas with the Cratchit family bereft of Tiny Tim. A rich miser, whose death saddens nobody and whose home and corpse have been robbed by ghoulish attendants, is revealed to be Scrooge himself: this is the fate that awaits him. Without it explicitly being said, Scrooge learns that he can avoid the future he has been shown and alter the fate of Tiny Tim, but only if he changes. Weeping, he swears to do so, and awakes to find that all three spirits have visited in just one night, and that it is Christmas morning.

Stave V: The End of It

Scrooge changes his life and reverts to the generous, kind-hearted soul he was in his youth before the death of Fan. He anonymously sends the Cratchits the biggest turkey in the butcher shop, meets the charity workers to pledge an unspecified but impressive amount of money, and spends Christmas Day with Fred and his wife.

The next day Scrooge catches his clerk arriving late and pretends to be his old miserly self, before revealing his new person to an astonished Cratchit. He assists Bob and his family, becomes an adopted uncle to Tiny Tim, and gains a reputation as a kind and generous man who embodies the spirit of Christmas in his life.

Explanation of the book's title

Originally a medieval round dance and then a word for a particular type of ballad[6], by Dickens' time the word carol had come closer to its modern meaning, being a joyful hymn specific to Christmas. Dickens takes this musical analogy further, dividing the novella into five "staves", instead of chapters.

Major themes

The story deals extensively with two of Dickens' recurrent themes, social injustice and poverty, the relationship between the two, and their causes and effects. It was written to be abrupt and forceful with its message, with a working title of "The Sledgehammer." The first edition of A Christmas Carol was illustrated by John Leech, a politically radical artist who in the cartoon "Substance and Shadow" printed earlier in 1843 had explicitly criticised artists who failed to address social issues. Dickens wrote in the wake of British government changes to the welfare system known as the Poor Laws, changes which required among other things, welfare applicants to "work" on treadmills, as Scrooge points out. Dickens asks, in effect, for people to recognise the plight of those whom the Industrial Revolution has displaced and driven into poverty, and the obligation of society to provide for them humanely. Failure to do so, the writer implies through the personification of Ignorance and Want as ghastly children, will result in an unnamed "Doom" for those who, like Scrooge, believe their wealth and status qualifies them to sit in judgment on the poor rather than to assist them.

Scrooge “embodies all the selfishness and indifference of the prosperous classes who parrot phrases about the ‘surplus population’ and think their social responsibilities fully discharged when they have paid their taxes.”

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (TV animated version)

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is well-known picture book by Dr. Seuss and first published in 1957. It is written in rhymed verse, with illustrations by the author, and features the famous character, The Grinch. It was adapted into as a short animated film in 1966, and again into a feature film in 2000.

The Grinch, a bitter, cave-dwelling creature with a heart "two sizes too small," lives on snowy Mount Crumpit, a steep, 3,000-foot (910 m) high mountain just north of Whoville, home of the merry and warm-hearted Whos. His only companion is Max, his faithful dog. From his perch high atop Mount Crumpit, the Grinch can hear the noisy Christmas festivities that take place in Whoville. (The Whos of this book may or may not be the minuscule Whos of Horton Hears a Who; In the Broadway musical Seussical, the Grinch's Whos and Horton's are one and the same, the Grinch being microscopic and living on the dust speck as well. In the live-action movie, Whoville is located in a snowflake.) Envious of the Whos' happiness, he makes plans to descend on the town and, by means of burglary, deprive them of their Christmas presents and decorations and thus "prevent Christmas from coming". However, he learns in the end that despite his success in stealing all the Christmas presents and decorations from the Whos, Christmas comes just the same.

He then realizes that Christmas is more than just gifts and presents. His heart grows three sizes larger, he returns all the presents and trimmings, and is warmly welcomed into the community of the Whos.

All four movies shows how the main characters have ephiphanies about there life in this season of miracles. What is your epiphany?

On yesterday, I had the privilege of attending Body Builders at theChurch in the Now in Conyers Ga. and it was absolutely phenomenal. Somany truths and profound thoughts was shared with a great bunch ofordained pastors, that Bishop Jim Earl Swilley ministers to once per month.
I am going to share some thoughts deposited by the Holy Spirit gaveplace before us like a banquet fit for queens and kings. Now, this isrich and so I want your "careful attention" and your feedback.

Pr. Jon Scott shared about the stretching that goes forward in childbirth in the natural. And he stated that "stretching is necessary forenlargement". Now that will preach. Some of my fellow/fella members ofCITN know that Pr. Debye has spoken about the difference between stressand stretch. Instead of saying we are stressed out, we need to say thatGod is stretching us.

We are the redeemed of the Lord and we have the say so, therefore whatwas talked about was how traditional denomonational churches (ove r20,000 religions world wide) are drying up and they are desiring thetrue love being preached instead as usual religious rhetoric.
Power of our words
Bishop mentioned that we really can have what we say and that our lifeis a direct result over words we have spoken over our lives.
Bishop read from John 1 from John in the Now:
Chapter 1
In the beginning, or in the eternal "now" before the creation of time,was the Word...the Logos...the Christ. And that timeless Christ/Word existed with God and, in fact, that Word actually was God, Himself.

He was originally omnipresent with God.
All things int he realm of space andtime came into existence through the specific expression of that "now" Word, and without the expression of that Word was not even one thingmade tht has come into being int he material universe.
In His being washoused the source of life, and that life was the light that illuminatesall of humanity.
And the light shines on in the darkness, for darknesshas never been able to absorbed the light, nor will it ever be able to overpower it or put it out.
There was a man who was God-sent, and hisname was John.
John came to bear witness of the light that everyone, everywhere, might believe in it through him.
He was not the Light, but came that he might verify the truth that is in the Light.
And there itwas, the true Light, coming in perfection to illuminate every individual on the planet.
He came into the world that He, Himself, had created, buthat same world did not recognize Him, initially.
He appeared to thatwhich already belonged to Him; He entered into His own domain and creation. But that creation did not welcome or receive Him.
Yet, to allwho did receive and welcome Him by the believing in the power of Hisname, He granted the authority to walk in the full reality that theywere the children of God...

Here is where I believe Bishop stopped reading to make his point which was if we could sum up anyone's life itwould be in two or three sentences.

He went on to say that each one has a thesis or a theme to our life.

For example; They may say of me Yvonne is love (I pray they can say that at the end of my course) or she communicated the oracles of God in a concise accurate way or she was an awesome communicator who loved Godand people, for example.

Therefore because we are the children of God we have been granted the authority to walk in the full reality that they were the children of God.

Bishop went on to explain that because of the authority and dominionwe have WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A MANIFESTATION OF WHAT WE SAY!
In this discourse Bishop Swilley explained that because we see through our eyes of authority and our eyes of dominion/the Thing changes. Is that an awesome thought or what.

Over the next couple of days or week, I will post some of thoughts that the H.S. and Bishop Jim Earl Swilley shared with the mature body, but I can't do this without you. I need your input.

The Thanksgiving Joy of Harvest

The term "HARVEST" appears frequently in Scripture, as the people of the Bible lived in an agricultural society. At Thanksgiving, the imagery of harvest frames our own nation's history, inspiring us with things reflective of Early America.

Yet Thanksgiving is about more than that.

It is a call for us to celebrate not only God's provision and restoration, but also His promise and presence--even amid delays, restricting circumstances, or tears.

Thanksgiving also calls us to constancy, for the journey to harvest will usually be harder than we think, longer than we expect, and more rewarding than we can ever imagine.

Scripture says, "Though weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning" (Ps. 30:5).

For many of us, it's been a demanding year.

But as you and I come to Thanksgiving, the joy of celebration makes everything else incidental. When we finally see the harvest, it no longer matters how tough things were, how much time they took, or how heavy the pressures were. What's important is that we have answered the call to faith.

There is joy in that call. The Bible likens this joy after travail to a woman who has delivered a child. After the difficult months of pregnancy and the pain of labor, the baby is born, and what it took for that to happen doesn't matter anymore. There is only the songs of rejoicing.

These songs are a celebration of God's purpose through and beyond trial. It reminds us that triumph ultimately outlasts trial. And the triumph is en route, folks.

Even if we can't see what God is doing, there's evidence in our hearts that He will be faithful. This song is an invitation to constancy of focus--to go forth with sacks of seed, not just one.

So today, ask yourself: What are you sowing?

Even with the wind in my face, the sand in my eyes, the weeping from circumstance or adversity, we must keep sowing the promise of God. Not as one who is mindless or superstitious, but as one who knows that the God who makes a promise to His people never forgets it.

God has done more things of love and goodness in our lives than any of us can imagine. When you face the thing that hasn't happened yet, keep sowing.

With a heart of Thanksgiving, find joy in the harvest to come. Do you have joy today with thanksgiving from what God has done this year?

Silent Night

History

The carol was first performed in the Nicola-Kirche (Church of St. Nicholas) in Oberndorf, Austria on December 24, 1818. Mohr had composed the words much earlier, in 1816, but on Christmas Eve brought them to Gruber and asked him to compose a melody and guitar accompaniment for the church service^[1].

In his written account regarding the composition of the carol, Gruber gives no mention of the specific inspiration for creating the song. According to the song's history provided by Austria's Silent Night Society, one supposition is that the church organ was no longer working so that Mohr and Gruber therefore created a song for accompaniment by guitar. Silent Night historian, Renate Ebeling-Winkler says that the first mention of a broken organ was in a book published in the U.S. in 1909.

Some historians believe that Mohr simply wanted a new Christmas carol that he could play on his guitar. The Silent Night Society says that there are "many romantic stories and legends" that add their own anecdotal details to the known facts.

Silent Night Museum and Memorial Chapel in Oberndorf

The Nicola-Kirche was demolished in the early 1900s due to flood damage and because the town's centre was moved up the river to a safer location, with a new church being built there close to the new bridge. A tiny chapel, called the "Stille-Nacht-Gedächtniskapelle" (Silent Night Memorial Chapel), was built in the place of the demolished church and a nearby house was converted into a museum, attracting tourists from all over the world, not only but primarily in December.

The original manuscript has been lost, however a manuscript was discovered in 1995 in Mohr's handwriting and dated by researchers at ca. 1820. It shows that Mohr wrote the words in 1816 when he was assigned to a pilgrim church in Mariapfarr, Austria, and shows that the music was composed by Gruber in 1818. This is the earliest manuscript that exists and the only one in Mohr's handwriting. Gruber's composition was influenced by the musical tradition of his rural domicile. The melody of "Silent Night" bears resemblance to aspects of Austrian folk music and yodelling.

Another popular story claims that the carol, once performed, was promptly forgotten until an organ repairman found the manuscript in 1825 and revived it. However, Gruber published various arrangements of it throughout his lifetime and we now have the Mohr arrangement (ca. 1820) that is kept at the Carolino Augusteum Museum in Salzburg.

It is believed that the carol has been translated into over 300 languages and dialects around the world, and it is one of the most popular carols of all time. It is sometimes sung without musical accompaniment. Although written by Catholics, it is given special significance in Lutheranism.

The song was sung simultaneously in English and German by troops during the Christmas truce^[2] of 1914, as it was one of the few carols that soldiers on both sides of the front line knew.

The song has been successfully recorded by over 300 artists, particularly successful by Stevie Nicks, Bing Crosby and Mahalia Jackson, and an instrumental version by Mannheim Steamroller.

In 1943 the Austrian exile Hertha Pauli wrote the book "Silent Night. A Story of a Song", in which she explained to American children the origin of the song. The book was illustrated by Fritz Kredel and published by Alfred a. Knopf. ^[3]

A 1988 dramatised television documentary called Silent Mouse tells the story of the creation of the carol from a mouse's point of view. It featured Lynn Redgrave as narrator, and Gregor Fisher in one of the leading roles.

that is Push me into my destiny, Bishop Jim Earl Swilley expressed yesterday, November 23, 2008from the pulpit as he ministered to us from Gen. 27 and Ecclesiastes pertaining to sowing in famine. He spoke many oracles of God on Sunday but these was particularly interesting. Basically mainstream Christiandom believes that Satan or the adversary has equal amounts of power with God Almighty. However, at CITN, we believe that Satan or the devil or the adversary works for God since, after all God made Satan. So what Bishop Swilley is maintaining here is even in our worst circumstances and situations, they are all working together for our good and ultimately we win because God wrote the back of book since He is the author and finisher of our faith.

Bishop's 7 points on November 23, 2008 are;
1)Sow in famine

5)Say what you really believe. God says if you establish a thing, He will decree it

Today I was reading an excerpt from My Utmost for His Highest, by Oswald Chambers and found the following article'

SHALLOW AND PROFOUND

"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31

Beware of allowing yourself to think that the shallow concerns of life are not ordained of God; they are as much of God as the profound. It is not your devotion to God that makes you refuse to be shallow, but your wish to impress other people with the fact that you are not shallow, which is a sure sign that you are a spiritual prig. Be careful of the production of contempt in yourself, it always comes along this line, and causes you to go about as a walking rebuke to other people because they are more shallow than you are. Beware of posing as a profound person; God became a Baby.

To be shallow is not a sign of being wicked, nor is shallowness a sign that there are no deeps: the ocean has a shore. The shallow amenities of life, eating and drinking, walking and talking, are all ordained by God. These are the things in which Our Lord lived. He lived in them as the Son of God, and He said that "the disciple is not above his Master."

Our safeguard is in the shallow things. We have to live the surface common-sense life in a common-sense way; when the deeper things come, God gives them to us apart from the shallow concerns. Never show the deeps to anyone but God. We are so abominably serious, so desperately interested in our own characters, that we refuse to behave like Christians in the shallow concerns of life.

Determinedly take no one seriously but God, and the first person you find you have to leave severely alone as being the greatest fraud you have ever known, is yourself.

Love is one of my favorite topics to explore so here you will find some excerpts from my fellow bloggers writings here from (blog in the now BITN/that I thought were very note worthy!

Water Walker says:

This morning when I was watching TBN, as a new twist this week, as part of my devotion, I had the opportunity to watch Joyce Meyer’s televised show. There was a sweet little story on love she told.

There was a little boy standing outside of a shoe store one day and this lady observed him just standing there, so she walked up to him and said "what ya doin"? The little boy replied, asking God to give me a pair of shoes.

So she took the little boy into the store and purchased 6 pair of socks and asked the merchant for a basin on water. She received permission to take him to the back to wash his feet, as she wanted to spare him the embarrassment of washing his feet in front of the other patrons. When she was finished, she asked the salesmen to bring out the shoes and fit the boy for the shoes he prayed for.

Once they left the store, the boy thanked her and looked at her and asked "Are you God's wife".

That little story really blessed my heart. Joyce says that we should never pray and ask God to do something we can do for our neighbor. Jesus said love your neighbor as you love yourself. Joyce said many times we are able to sow seeds of love to others, but many of us don't want to let go of our "stuff", so we say, well I will pray for you. That is error, if someone is hungry and you can feed them, the thing to do is to feed them. If someone needs a ride, and you have transportation and opportunity to give them a ride, you should bless them with a ride, if someone you in your way (neighbor) has a financial emergency, and you can sow money, and you have the wherewithal, you just make it available, as God leads.

I have seen this dynamic in Christianity a lot lately; it is almost as though people are living by the adage "God bless the child who has his own" more than they are the scripture which speaks about not shutting up our bowels of compassion, or doing unto others and loving your neighbors as ourselves.

A great part of it is fear and lack of understanding of the importance of giving. God gave us a beautiful example of love, for God so loved the world that He gave, He gave, He gave…as many are the sons of God, they shall be called the children of God.

As long as the earth remains, there shall be seed, time and then harvest. I agree as Christians, we ought to find opportunities to sow love to our neighbors, who is everyone who is in our path.

Our steps are ordered of God and when you smile at some one or hold a door, or speak a kind word, or really listen to someone, which is a great seed of love.

WE are to be as He is in the earth…Jesus said you will know my disciples by the love they have one for another. Where is the love?

Walk in Divine Wealth

Some of the bloggers and intercessors was at intercessory prayer this beautiful and crisp morning fall morning and although Bishop and Pr. Debye wasn't ITB, their spirits was there and we prayed and the Holy spirit met us there as we exhorted each other.

It is really cool when you have the opportunity to plant seeds for the body, God always honors that. I had a phenomenal day after that. Thank you for opportunity to come ITB and pray on a Friday morning.
The holy spirit was moving deeply on the hearts of the intercessors in preparation for THE BLAST (October 5, 2008)and THE GLOBAL PEACE FESTIVAL on Tuesday October 7, 2008!

The Lord gave us a word this morning that I believe is rhema from Isaiah 54...
"To me this is like the days of Noah,when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,never to rebuke you again.
10 Though the mountains be shakenand the hills be removed,yet my unfailing love for you will not be shakennor my covenant of peace be removed,"says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
11 "O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,I will build you with stones of turquoise, [a]your foundations with sapphires. [b]
12 I will make your battlements of rubies,your gates of sparkling jewels,and all your walls of precious stones.
13 All your sons will be taught by the LORD,and great will be your children's peace.
14 In righteousness you will be established:Tyranny will be far from you;you will have nothing to fear.Terror will be far removed;it will not come near you.

There are three things that stand out here for me
1) Some of the weapons formed against us is formed by God himself...when He says that he created the destroyer to work havoc. The weapons formed against have indeed been formed God himself says that will not prevail or prosper against us.
2) Whoever attacks us, will have to surrender to us...which takes me to a word the Lord has given me in this night-hour/the adversary has to give back what he has stolen or surrender to us. Now I believe...that'll preach
3) God promises us turquoise and rubies and other riches...which is speaking to the transferrance of wealth that I believe is taking bless in this season of shaking (certainly this confirms Bishop's word a couple Sunday's ago on shaking). I believe that when the dust settles, true believers will have true wealth.
The word that the Holy Spirit has given me is "divine wealth"...instead of saying I have no money, which is what it looks like in the natural...He instructed me to change my words to "I am walking in divine wealth". That is calling those things that are not as though they were.
I tried a little experiment this week and stop saying...I have no money...but declaring let the poor say I am rich...I walk in divine wealth (we can say the same about our health)...and I have been receiving money in the mail this week, free meals, a wealth of resources for non-profits...so there really is a transferring going on. I believe that we are blessed so much...that we don't stop and recognize because we as Americans are spoiled and we just expect to always have everything we need.
WE truly do possess plenty and much of it we take for granted and as Pr. Debye states, we didn't even do anything to deserve the blessings but nevertheless we always expect it.
Something happens when you start to truly bless God, in everything...we are created to worship and bless him.

Hearing of the Word Now

The Lord used me today to be a doer today and not just a hearer only today.

I went downtown to minister at Urban Man Ministries to the homeless and meet a man named Shalom (peace), he is a reformed Muslim. Anyone he serves and ministers for the ministry although he is homeless himself. The Holy Spirit used me to minister love to him today, daddy's love and told him that if He had the faith of a mustard seed that God could provide the home he needed so desperately.

You see, he was just released from Grady on yesterday after being diagnosed with a Chronic illness and knew he could not weather the streets of Atlanta. He told me that he had not eloquent prayers and sometimes he really didn't know what to say.

Say Jesus, just say Jesus ~ there is something about His name. There is power in his name, there is deliverance in His name, there is healing in His name. So we started to say Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and the father dispatched angels....

We experienced body ministry and I told him that daddy was waiting with that robe and ring and was prepared to kill the fatted calf for him. What a glorious time it was in the parking lot in downtown Atlanta today.

Well, I told him that every morning when the sun rises it speaks to my spirit that although we may be homeless or looking at evictions or foreclosures or repossessions, that today, right now God could change that circumstance instantly by His spirit.

Every new sunrise represents new mercies, new anointing, new chances and new opportunities. I watched his face light up as God gave him hope to believe that all things really are possible.

It is not by our might or by our power but by His spirit.

If I was not there, I would have a hard time believing this, but I want you to know that a ministry couple came up and started to talk to the Pastor Fishman and the other ministers because the other 100 homeless men and women had dispersed after they had eaten.

This couple, founders of Fragment Ministries, Gerald and Paula Cloud had a home for this man, and all they required was that he was willing to do the work of the ministry and study the bible one hour a day. Ironically, when I asked him earlier what he really wanted to do with his life, he said, I just want to serve God. He went on to tell me about his past and I told him that all of that was put to death on the cross. The unfailing love of God endures forever....

Glory to God, Shalom is off the street and in a clean safe comfortable environment.

WE serve a God who is a ever present time in a time of trouble! He knows our uprising and down-sitting and He cares about us, each of us! WE are daddy's favorite. So, as we are lead by the spirit, we never know when or where we can be His hands and feet in the earth!

He is just looking for us to be doers of the word ~ I am glad to be in His service, what a honor it is to serve you, Abba Father!

Plans, Purpose Press and Praise

On this past Sunday, Pastor Ben (Nadiope Bwamiki Bernard William/founder and senior Pastor of Good Shepherd's Ministries Inc of Mbya Kampala, Uganda in East Africa delivered a inspirational exhortation for us to have purpose, praise while we walk out our destiny God has pre-ordained for us. Then in the afterglow in the lobby , he reiterated that no matter what we are going through we must walk in our purpose and keep on praising no matter what circumstance and situation.

This word bore witness with my spirit as I have been in a very interesting season of faith and water walking/it is the best of times in the spirit and financially it has been the worst of times in the natural. Through all of this the steadfast love of "daddy' is simply amazing. Therefore I studied out the some scriptures of plans, purpose, pressing and some praise. Can you praise him and walk in your purpose as your press towards the mark of the higher calling in him? What is your testimony...I would love to hear from you.

God instructed me to speak the word only over my finances. It seems tht everyone is believing God for His will pertaining to our finances to be established in this earth (our earth) so that we can focus on being a blessing to the kingdom of God and to mankind. So as we focus and meditate on His word, He will dispatch angels to accomplish the word in which it is sent. So make it personal, personalize these scriptures for your life, your ministry, your family knowing that it is all in His name, the mighty name of Jesus.

A Year in the Now;

LOVE CONNECTION!

"Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.' These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them." (Matthew 22:37-40 – The Message)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because love always wins, and the love of God is abundantly deposited in my heart by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Faith will be a major part of my day, as will hope and love. These three will abide and remain, but the greatest of these will be love!
Today I will love audibly, telling the people I love that I love them at every given opportunity, knowing that I may not have the chance to say it tomorrow. But I will not limit my expression of love to words only. I will love visibly as well, by confirming what I say with what I do, because sometimes actions speak louder than words.
Today I will love unselfishly, remembering that I do not own the people who are in my life. I will accept and receive people as they are, releasing my desire to control or change them for my own purposes or pleasure. I will pray that God's will be done in their lives, rather than imposing my will on them in the flesh, and will act accordingly.
Today I will love tangibly. When it is possible and appropriate, I will not be reluctant to reach out and touch someone, without the fear of rejection on my part. I will let Jesus bring healing to someone through me today by letting Him touch them through me.
Today I will love aggressively, going the extra mile to reach those who have been hurt, and have put up a wall of protection around themselves. I will not give up easily, but will manifest my true belief in the ministry of reconciliation by being persistent. "A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city . . ." (Proverbs 18:19), but I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me!
Today I will love maturely, doing what is right for the ones I love, rather than doing what is easy. If tough love is required, then tough love will be given. Faith works by love, and love works by faith, and faith without works is dead!
Today I will love truly. I will be loyal and forgiving, even with the ones who don't deserve it, because of the unconditional love and grace that God has poured into me. I will walk in supernatural love today, and today I will live in the now!

Namaste is one of the few Sanskrit words commonly recognized by Non-Hindi speakers. In the West, it is often used to indicate South Asian culture in general. "Namaste" is particularly associated with aspects of South Asian culture such as vegetarianism, yoga, ayurvedic healing, and Hinduism.
In recent times, and more globally, the term "namaste" has come to be especially associated with yoga and spiritual meditation all over the world. I have been posting some articles by different authors and sources for a couple of months know and somehow I can't seem to get pass the knowledge of water and what it means to our families, our health and our lives. Someone sent this to me this morning and I am startled by it even though I had read many of these facts. This article is not intended to bring you down but to educate you on this important topic!

The Poisoning of America's Water Supplies

(NaturalNews) Every day in the United States more than 240 million people turn on their faucets in order to drink, bathe, and cook, using water from public water systems. But more people are arriving to the point where they will not let a drop of water touch their lips in their own homes unless that water comes from a bottle shipped from a fresh water source. And even then we still have trouble in the home. Researchers at the University of Texas found that showers and dishwashers liberate trace amounts of chemicals from municipal water supplies into the air [i].

Squirting hot water through a nozzle, to produce a fine spray, increases the surface area of water in contact with the air, liberating dissolved substances in a process known as "stripping." So if we want to avoid those chemicals drinking bottled water is not enough. Chemically sensitive individuals would also have to wear a gas mask in the shower, and when unloading the dishwasher if they want to avoid chemical contamination. And even then the skin will absorb directly in the shower chemicals like fluoride so we cannot assume we are safe from the contaminants even if we are drinking pure water. The majority of people still take the purity of their tap water for granted when they shouldn't.

When we look deeper we can see that even in a rich country like the United States, we all have reason to be concerned about not only drinking, but even bathing in water that comes from public treatment systems. Albuquerque, Fresno, and San Francisco are examples of cities that have water that is sufficiently contaminated so as to pose serious potential health risks to pregnant women, infants, children, the elderly, and people with compromised immune systems, according to Dr. David Ozonoff [ii].

What we find in these waters are contaminants that occur with surprising regularity, regardless of location, such as chlorination by-products, lead, and coliform bacteria. Other contaminants, such as Teflon and rocket fuel occur less frequently but pose major health concerns. If we include the fact that fluoride is actually poisonous we have water that is slowly killing some Americans and depressing the health of almost everyone who drinks and showers in it.

And the problems with water just do not end. In August 2005 we learned that common household brass plumbing fixtures may release far more lead into drinking water than previously believed. As a result, even new homes built with brass fixtures like ball valves and water meters could end up with potentially unsafe lead levels. In a report trumpeted by the National Science Foundation, Virgina Tech researchers charged that the standards used to certify the brass plumbing supplies found at most hardware stores may be inadequate to predict lead contamination of water. This contradicts years of assumptions that lead contamination primarily comes from old leaden pipes or public water systems with lead contamination problems [iii]. Contrary to popular belief, many plumbing supplies sold today are not lead-free but contain up to 8 percent lead content in brass fixtures [iv]. Lead makes brass and other metals more malleable, helping manufacturers create intricate shapes.

The consequence though is extraordinarily high for exposure to lead in drinking water which results in delays in physical and mental development, along with slight deficits in attention span and learning abilities. In adults, it can cause increases in blood pressure. Adults who drink this water over many years could develop kidney problems or high blood pressure according to the American EPA [v]. The Romans had their engineers turn the populace into neurological cripples when they started using lead in their water systems but they did not have to deal with either fluoride or mercury. The three together, mercury, lead and fluoride become a kind of devil's triangle of chemical toxicity that is only made worse by aluminum and a host of other hostile chemicals that are clogging up our bodies.
Water pollution by drugs is an emerging issue that is extremely important. Pharmaceuticals are now attracting attention as a whole new class of water pollutants. At the recent American Chemical Society conference, Chris Metcalfe of Trent University in Ontario reported finding a vast array of drugs leaving Canadian sewage treatment plants. Padma Venkatraman, a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins concluded that antidepressants, anticonvulsants, anticancer drugs and antimicrobials are among the pharmaceuticals most likely to be found at "toxicologically significant levels" in the environment.

These drugs and many more [vi] are finding their way into public water systems because pharmaceutical industries, hospitals and other medical facilities as well as households dispose of unused medicines and even human excreta can contain incompletely metabolized medicines. Millions of doses of prescription drugs that Americans swallow annually to combat cancer, pain, depression and other ailments do not disappear harmlessly into their digestive systems but instead make their way back into the environment where they may contaminate drinking water and pose a threat to life, according to researchers at John Hopkins medical center.
These drugs pass intact through conventional sewage treatment facilities, into waterways, lakes and even aquifers. Discarded pharmaceuticals often end up at dumps and land fills, posing a threat to underlying groundwater. And farm animals also are a huge source of pharmaceuticals entering the environment because of the massive use of hormones, antibiotics and veterinary medicines used in their care. Along with pharmaceuticals, personal care products also are showing up in water. Generally these chemicals are the active ingredients or preservatives in cosmetics, toiletries or fragrances. For example, nitro musks, used as a fragrance in many cosmetics, detergents, toiletries and other personal care products, have attracted concern because of their persistence and possible adverse environmental impacts. Some countries have taken action to ban nitro musks. Also, sun screen agents have been detected in lakes and fish.
It is hard to tell which is worse, the toxic chemicals and drugs that are leeching into the public water systems or the noxious chemicals deliberately put in the water by public health officials. Standard water treatments result in health threats yet health officials are loath to admit any problem that we should beware of.

Chlorination of drinking water supplies virtually eliminates most disease or bacterial contamination, but creates traces of several toxic by-products in drinking water -- such as chloroform, trihalomethanes and other chlorinated organic compounds. In recent years municipal water districts across the United States are changing the way they disinfect public water supplies. Many are adding ammonia to chlorinated water to produce chloramines [vii], or chloraminated water. They are doing that in order to meet standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). While chloramination has been used as a way to lower the level of carcinogenic disinfection byproducts (DBPs) created by chlorination, it has led to extreme water toxicity.

Chloraminated water kills fish and reptiles and there is no reason to believe it is safe for human consumption.
"I almost died," Denise Kula Johnson of Menlo Park said the day after chloramines were added to her water supply. "I was in the shower and suddenly I could not breathe. I passed out on the floor. I was terrified."

"The government is hiding the fact that the drinking water is not usable," says medical scientist Dr. Winn Parker who tells us that the most at-risk groups from chloraminated water are the fetus in the first trimester, children to age three, people over age 60 and those with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Women in the 35-45 age group are at risk of recurring rashes on the inner thighs and chest, he added. Parker is calling for government funding of alternative disinfection methods, such as ultra-violet and reverse osmosis, which would make harmful chemical disinfection methods obsolete. "We need to amend the Constitution," Parker said, "to give the people in each state the right to vote on what goes into their water."[viii] A recently discovered disinfection byproduct iodoacetic acid, found in U.S. drinking water treated with chloramines, is the most toxic ever found according to Dr. Michael J. Plewa, a genetic toxicology expert at the University of Illinois [ix].

When Washington DC changed in 2000 to chloramines, this newly treated water reacted with the lead in the pipes to poison the drinking water. Lead levels were found in Washington's water 3,200 times the EPA's "action level" and 4,800 times the UN's acceptable level for the toxic heavy metal. Americans have been conditioned to believe that the problem with lead has mostly disappeared but nothing could be further from the truth. According to the Washington Post, "In New York City, the nation's largest water provider has for the past three years assured its 9.3 million customers that its water was safe because the lead content fell below federal limits. But the city has withheld from regulators hundreds of test results that would have raised lead levels above the safety standard in two of those years.

"[xi] "The drinking water lead crisis in Washington D.C. poses serious public health risks to thousands of residents of the national capital area, and casts a dark shadow of doubt over the ability, resources, or will of federal and local officials to fulfill their duty to protect our health," said Paul D. Schwartz, National Policy Coordinator, Clean Water Action [xii].
After switching to chloraminated water, children in Washington ingested more than 60 times the EPA's maximum level of lead with one glass of water [xiii].

Jim Elder, who headed the EPA's drinking water program from 1991 to 1995, said he fears that utilities are engaging in "widespread fraud and manipulation. It's time to reconsider whether water utilities can be trusted with this crucial responsibility of protecting the public. I fear for the safety of our nation's drinking water. Apparently, it's a real crap shoot as to what's going to come out of the tap and whether it will be healthy or not."

Underground aquifers can become contaminated with bacteria and viruses because of insufficient topsoil layers to filter rainwater as it trickles down to recharge the groundwater. Livestock manure, human sewage sludge, fertilizers, weed killers [xv] and pesticides seep down into groundwater supplies. The intensification of agricultural practices -- in particular, the heavy use of fertilizers and pesticides -- has had a huge impact on water quality. The main agricultural water pollutants are nitrates[xvi], phosphorus, and pesticides. Rising nitrate concentrations threaten the quality of drinking water, while high pesticide use contributes substantially to the direct poisoning of our water supplies.

The Netherlands National Institute of Public Health and Environmental Protection (RIVM, 1992) concluded that "groundwater is threatened by pesticides in all European states." WHO (1993) has established drinking water guidelines for 33 pesticides but an awareness is growing that in all matters water related we are not being protected from serious harm. There really is no limit to the concerns and chemicals that make drinking public water a bad idea.

There really is no end to the serious problems with tap water that are being seriously underestimated. The National Academy of Sciences has concluded that arsenic is so dangerous in drinking water that stringent levels set by the Clinton administration and later suspended by the Bush White House were not strict enough. For decades, the Environmental Protection Agency set an acceptable arsenic level of 50 parts per billion in drinking water. But recent studies suggested that this level was too high and increased the risk of bladder and lung cancer. A report by the National Academy of Sciences in 1999 said the standard should be made stricter "as promptly as possible." President Bill Clinton ordered the limit to be lowered to 10 parts per billion in 2006 and scientists doubt if even this low level of concentration is safe [xvii].

The first is that it is much longer lasting, so it continues to provide a disinfectant action in supply pipes, where chlorine typically loses its capacity to disinfect. This is a ministry in which the Spirit of God impressed within me to start this year, March 2008. Certainly I have been inspired by my pastor, Bishop Swilley but honestly this is a forum that God had in my spirit for some years now. Well, at any rate let me summarize the purpose of Garden of Yve and it's inception.

I have been a health and wellness advocate for many years know and very interested in nutrition for the family. At my point I owned a herb store in a mall here in the Atlanta area. To be perfectly honest, I didn't make a ton of money but I did help lot of people and that is something I feel great about. Well, since that time (10 years later), I find myself instructing, helping, teaching many people who are looking to alternative medicine as opposed to pharmaceuticals. I have recently discovered just how important having our bodies in the proper ph balance (alkalinity) was to our overall health. So you will find articles on alkaline water, alkaline diet, alkaline foods etc. Going forward there will be articles posted on cancer prevention, help for diabetes, gout, high blood pressure and many other dis-eases. This blog is not intended to replace medical advice or consultation and testimonies are based on a individuals experienced.

That being said, I welcome all of your blurkers (some one who just reads blogs but doesn't actually comment) and bloggers (participants) to join in with questions, answers and feedback to create an interactive exchange to build our health and wellness for empowerment of the family.

A second purpose of this blog was to give a venue to ministries, outreach programs, resources to bless the body of Christ and all believers for the edification and assistance. For the last several months, I have feature probably about 12 ministries that gives assistance to the public for food, rental assistance, utility assistance, shelters, the homeless as well as local churches and their outreach programs. It is my prayer that you guys will assist with posting information for in your local communities that can be used to bless and assist your communities.

Most importantly, as God leads, you will find many spiritual topics here according to what the spirit of God gives me!

The Garden of Yve is designed to become a plethora of ideas, issues, answers, comments about many things that will met the needs of every person pertaining to the spirit, the soul and the body!

This morning I was inspired by bloginthenow.blogspot when I read the Message version of the love chapter, 1 cor 13. I was at a graduation ceremony this month and a very sweet young lady read this poem below. It reminded me of my childhood when I spent the summers on my Aunt's farm (who was like a granny to me). I would read this poem, over and over, every day of the summer. It was like a spiritual nugget deposited in me and even now, middle aged, some truths and principles of this poem is a part of my very fiber, (as a man thinks, so is he). It is important what we read, what we listen to and what we allow to go into our ears. When we think on things repeatedly and rehearse those things, they become a part of our being. What things are you thinking on today! Make it lovely, make it good and make it God!

In recent weeks, I have experienced other's sorrows and hardships and my natural man truly wanted to deliver them on a natural level. I wanted to offer shelter to a family in the church who I didn't know just to be a blessing to them, or travel 100's of miles to help someone pack there stuff up for storage as they were looking at eviction after losing a job and saw no way out. I wanted to rescue a elderly lady from being mistreated by her adult children but I just had to go to God for all of these circumstances. Last winter after ministering to my family out of state, I was communing with Lord and I wanted to know what and where and how He wanted me to go forward, and believe I experienced Him speaking to me and letting me know that I had been obedient to Him by ministering reconciliation and planting seeds and now He wanted to know "will you trust me to be their Savior?". The next day I went home with much joy because my answer is "yes, I'll trust you Lord, I'll trust you Lord". Beloved our burdens become easier and yokes lighter when we give "the stuff" of this life over to Him.

The people who influence my life, my Bishop, friends and family have been experiencing intercession on a whole different plane in the Now season of the moment. Yesterday we saw prayers from different world leaders posted on bloginthenow.blogspot.com as Bishop Swilley's spirit is admonishing us to pray. Prayer is such beautiful simple thing we have that we can do always, easily and effortlessly and can be the difference that makes the difference to our loved ones, our family, our neighbors, our communities and the world. So, beloved we all have the priviledge to pray. I heard someone say, I can pray but I am not call to intercession. Well, anytime you stand in the gap between God and someone else you are making intercession. Over the next few days or weeks, (until the Holy Spirit) releases me, I will be posting some articles on intercession.

I am part of a weekly intercessory pray group and our minister is anointed to teach prayer and intercession. Therefore I will be sharing some spiritual keys to intercession for those who want to take your pray life to another place in Christ. Pray is simple and important and will yield the eternal fruit of righteousness.

There's a motivational writer who has a great things to speak about pertaining to life's surprises. This excerpt was taken from Ralph Marston.

Life's surprises - Sometimes it is useful, and even joyous, to find what you are not looking for.

PERFECT PEACE!
"You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3)

Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because my mind is fixed on the God of all peace, and His tranquility and serenity are flowing through me like a cool stream in a green meadow on a lazy summer afternoon. Regardless of the turmoil around me today, the secret place of the Most High will be the eye of the storm for me as I walk in the peace that passes understanding.

Today I will let the peace of God's Word wash away the worry that wastes my time, and keeps me from walking in a way that is worthy of me, as I welcome its wonderful wealth of wisdom into my world!

Today I will enjoy an undisturbed and composed existence, refusing to become unnecessarily agitated over trivial problems and inconveniences in my day.

I will "let not my heart be troubled," but will choose the path of peace without frustration and aggravation, remaining calm and collected in Christ.

Today I will find some quiet time for myself, removing myself from the stress of striving in the flesh. The Spirit will be a dove for me as I cast all of my care upon Him, laboring to enter into His rest without pressure.
Today I will be a peacemaker, not just a peacekeeper.

I will proactively insist on living in an environment of harmony — doing whatever is necessary to produce peace in my relationships — because where envy and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work (James 3:16).

Today I will practice the presence of God by praise, worship and meditation.

Today I will walk in my Kingdom rights to peace (along with righteousness and joy in the Holy Ghost), and following that peace in my spirit will guide me into the perfect will of God when I need to make decisions. Today I will settle down, inwardly, and trust God with my life completely. Today I will just chill, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to keep my mind stayed on You today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

So a man thinks

In the last week, the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me and sometimes through me about our thoughts. Our thoughts and memories sometimes keeps us stagnate and from moving! We sing at the church that we are not looking back, but in Him we are moving forward! From Genesis to Revelation the Holy Spirit moves. We are to keep it moving for after all it is in Him that we move, breath and have our being. So a man thinketh in his heart, so is he?

Question, do you know who you are today? Are you who God says you are or are you who other people say you are? Do you have a history of mistreatment or abuse or persecution or any other thought that is outside of the knowledge of God? I have had conversations this past week and I find that many people are defined by their jobs, their positions, their careers, their bank account, their degrees. But what happens when you lose that job or your account dwindles down to nothing because of it or you can't pay that car note or you have to change careers?(the average person today has 5 careers in one lifetime, so if you have one or two careers, you are unusual). What happens when you lose that very thing you loved so much or that persons you love goes away, God wants to know that you still trust him! Do you trust him with your finances, with your career with your home and your stuff? Who do you say you are? More importantly who does God say you are?

I am declaring to you no matter what has happened or is happening that God love is unfailing and you are the apple of His eye. Throughout the old testament, you will hear it penned repeatedly, God's unfailing love endures forever. When you think about the prodigal son and we are all prodigal, if you really get real with yourself, The father saw him a way off (he was looking for him the entire time) and ran to him and put a ring on his finger and a robe on his back and restored him and celebrated him. We need to have a knowing that God's love is forever and we are commanded by Jesus to love him and our neighbors as we love ourselves. Well, honestly I don't believe you can love God or your neighbor yourself without really loving yourself.

The world labels us according to it's standards of success but behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Behold the lamb of God, Behold the lamb, Behold....

In Matt 12:20, the Matthew Henry commentaries explains how the Lord deals with us...That he should carry on his undertaking without severity and rigour (v. 20). A bruised reed shall he not break. Some understand this of his patience in bearing with the wicked; he could as easily have broken these Pharisees as a bruised reed, and have quenched them as soon as smoking flax; but he will not do it till the judgment-day, when all his enemies shall be made his footstool. Others rather understand it of his power and grace in bearing up the weak. In general, the design of his gospel is to establish such a method of salvation as encourages sincerity, though there be much infirmity; it does not insist upon a sinless obedience, but accepts an upright, willing mind. As to particular persons, that follow Christ in meekness, and in fear, and in much trembling, observe, [1.] How their case is here described--they are like a bruised reed, and smoking flax. Young beginners in religion are weak as a bruised reed, and their weakness offensive like smoking flax; some little life they have, but it is like that of a bruised reed; some little heat, but like that of smoking flax. Christ's disciples were as yet but weak, and many are so that have a place in his family. The grace and goodness in them are as a bruised reed, the corruption and badness in them are as smoking flax, as the wick of a candle when it is put out and is yet smoking. [2.] What is the compassion of our Lord Jesus toward them? He will not discourage them, much less reject them or cast them off; the reed that is bruised shall not be broken and trodden down, but shall be supported, and made as strong as a cedar or flourishing palm-tree. The candle newly lighted, though it only smokes and does not flame, shall not be blown out, but blown up. The day of small things is the day of precious things, and therefore he will not despise it, but make it the day of great things, Zech. iv. 10. Note, Our Lord Jesus deals very tenderly with those who have true grace, though they be weak in it, Isa. xl. 11; Heb. v. 2. He remembers not only that we are dust, but that we are flesh.

Remember, it is beyond being all Good! No matter what it is "it is all God".

In the book of Jeremiah, God says, "I know the plans I have towards you, plan to give you hope and a future and it is for your good (welfare).

Yesterday, I sent this email to a couple of my sisters and brothers in the Lord and as I re-read this morning, I decided to post this to my blogspot because I believe the information is priceless. I appreciate your feedback!

Good Day!

I have posted several articles on water and proper ph balance in our bodies, subsequently I have researched and studied to bring you sound and scientific information for your edification. This subject has truly intrigued me for several reasons.

For one reason, the Lord has used me in the area of healing. Whenever I pray for individuals, the Holy Spirit seems to usually prompt me to pray for whatever disease on the cellular level. Disease cannot live in alkaline body, even diseases such as cancer and the like. Our body is made up of water, our cells, our bones, our blood and our organs. 1- Increase Hydration
The process of ionization reduces the size of the water molecular cluster by two-thirds. The cluster of water molecules takes on a hexagonal shape when ionized. Smaller, hexagonal water clusters are more able to penetrate the cellular membranes, enhancing tissue repair and waste removal. The amount of hexagonal water produced depends on the surface area of the electrolysis plates and the electrical power devoted to ionization.
2- Balance Body
pH Hexagonal Kangen water raises tap water pH by ionizing or splitting the water molecule (H2O) resulting in the ions H+ (hydrogen with a positive electrical charge), and OH- (hydroxyl with a negative electrical charge), as well as ionic alkaline minerals. This abundance of OH- ions increases the bicarbonate buffers in the blood, balancing the body and neutralizing and excreting acids and toxins.
3- Increase Blood Oxygenation
Strong, fresh hexagonal Kangen water contains an abundance of hydroxyl ions (OH-) which donate free electrons to unstable oxygen free radicals, resulting in stable oxygen molecules. 4- Neutralize Free Radicals
According to Dr. Hidemitsu Hayashi, Director of The I Water Institute in Tokyo, Japan, because active oxygen is a free radical and can damage normal tissue, it is essential to remove it or neutralize it before it can cause damage to healthy tissue. "If we can find an effective method to block the oxidation of healthy tissue by active oxygen, then we can attempt to prevent disease,"

Dr. Hayashi explains.10 Hexagonal Kangen water, with an abundance of hydroxyl ions (OH-), provides extra electrons that neutralize destructive free radicals circulating throughout the body. Hexagonal Kangen water carries a high negative ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) when it is first produced, making it a potent anti-oxidant. "When taken internally, the reduced ionized water with its redox potential, or ORP, of -250 to -350 mV readily donates its electrons to oddball oxygen radicals and blocks the interaction of the active oxygen with normal molecules," Dr. Hayashi adds.

Hexagonal Water
Biological organisms prefer hexagonal water, which is comprised of six molecules of water in a ring-shaped cluster. In nature, it is found in water from melting snow or ice.

pH
pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. As the pH scale is logarithmic, it does not start at zero. Thus the most acidic of liquids encountered can have a pH as low as 2.5. Hexagonal Kangen drinking water typically has pH of 8 to 11.5, which is alkaline.
Free Radicals
Free radicals are atoms or molecules which contain unpaired electrons. Active oxygen is a free radical because it is missing one electron. Free radicals indiscriminately steal electrons from other atoms, converting them into free radicals, which can cause substantial biological damage, leading to aging and illness.
Oxidation
When the oxygen molecule loses an electron, it becomes a free radical and begins to search for any molecule that might have an extra electron. Oxidation occurs when an electron is taken from a molecule by oxygen. Oxidation is how our bodies age, resulting in wrinkles, degeneration of organs, bones, muscles, tendons and cellular membranes.
Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP)ORP is a measure of anti-oxidant power and is measured in millivolts (mV). It measures the presence of free electrons. A negative ORP means that a substance can donate free electrons, making it an antioxidant. A positive ORP means that a substance is taking electrons, making it a free radical or pro-oxidant.

Water is our best defense against disease of every kind. Sixty percent or more of all chronic disease would be significantly reduced if people would simply keep themselves properly hydrated.

The body of Christ is experiencing such a watering of the spirit, in this season. Did you know that the water that goes on our skin, such as in a shower goes into our blood stream. So if you wash your body in healthy water externally, you are clean inside. The holy spirit washing us through and through by His power. A common theme in this blog has been about spiritual water as well as physical water (alkaline) and I am sure that what happens in the natural happens in the spirit first. At my local church, we experienced a sweet presence of the Holy Spirit permeating our presence. It detoxified us in a gentle manifestation! Ministry of the Week

There is a really sweet golden girl who sells Blessings Bamboo at Antiques & Stuff right on Elm Street behind Popeye's right off Hwy 278 in Covington. Sister Mary Alice Cochran is very spunky lady who blesses us with hugs and fudge and talks to all us God's love and His goodness to everyone who passes her table. She sells the Blessings Bamboo to supplement her income and what a blessing she is as she depicts God's hands and feet in the earth. She is one of the founder's of Living Wter Source Ministries, along with Donna Poulin and Pam Brumbelow.

There prayer for us is..

They shall be like tress planted by the rivers of water, that bring forth fruit inseason, whose leaves shall not wither, and all they do shall prosper - Psalm 1:3 (Paraphrased).

Jesus said, "If anyone is thirsty let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture says, streams (springs and rivers) of living water will flow (continiously) from within him." By this He meant the Spirit. Only Jesus can give the gift of Living Water - John 4:10. Remember Jesus' words to the Samaritan Woman, "Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up (bubbling up, flowing) to eternal life" John 4:14.

Life or death-blessing or curses/your ph balance

This post will include the 3rd and final installment from Dr. Gary Tunsky, the author of pH of the Human Body is Critical for Health that was featured on this blogspot over the last couple of weeks. Many of us are dealing with di-sease and ailments because of this simple lack of knowledge of pH balance in the Human body. Bloggers, God wants us to be in health and prosper even as soul prospers. So, my desire for the body is to see a functioning, healthy body supplying the other parts of the body of Christ and we can't do that if we feel bad and are sick. On next week, I will list the specific vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, juices, and more information on water.

Again, it is my desire with this blog is to see other leaders and ministers globally as well as locally reach out and offer any resources (food pantries, non-profits, clothes closets, job fairs, rental and utility assistance, grants, funding) that they have available to them for the health of the body. WE are in a critical time and many of us need the wholeness of the body accomplish the work that God has started.

In the Good News, in the day of Pentecost the people sold what they owned and had all things in common. Diabetes Is Caused By Acid

The pancreas produces one of the highest pH body fluids - pancreatic juice with a pH of 8.8. A shortage of calcium ions in the body impairs the production and the release of the insulin hormone. This eventually leads to an acidic blood condition. With the accumulated acidic waste products coating the receptor sites of the insulin producing beta cells, insulin is prevented from being synthesized or utilized. Diabetes is the result. This could be improved by an alkaline diet and detoxification.

Kidney Disease is Caused By Acidity
As acidic waste products accumulate in the blood, the kidneys - the bloodstreams filter - become more taxed, leading to nephritis, uremic poisoning, bladder diseases, etc. All kidney disease is acid related, which can be improved by an alkaline diet. Kidney stones are salts of phosphoric acid and uric acid, generally combined with calcium and/or magnesium. These salts are acidic salts that gradually build up into a stone like object.
Afthough calcium and magnesium are in the salts, they are there to soften the poisonous effects of uric acid and phosphoric acid. Some people mistakenly believe that kidney stones are formed because there’s too much calcium. This is not true. Calcium compounds will dissolve in acidic urine, while a kidney stone will not. If you add calcium into the blood and lower blood acidity by an alkaline diet kidney stones will dissolve from the inside.
Allergies Are Acid Related
Allergies are an irritation/inflammation reaction appearing as allergy symptoms as a means of dealing with acid toxins. If a beneficial cleansing substance is taken such as wheat grass or fresh vegetable juice, sinus swelling, runny nose, skin reactions, tearing eyes, etc., are all ways of eliminating acid toxins. Thus, yeast and fungus whose poisons are acid may contribute significantly to your hay fever and sneezing. If you have no symptogenic yeast or fungus, it would be impossible for you to have allergies.

Obesity Linked To Acid pH
Over ingestion of carbohydrates and fats and not enough exercise to burn them as fuel causes our bodies to store fatty acids. Acetic acid, lactic acid and LDL cholesterol are the derivatives of fatty acid. Lactic acids and acetic acids lower the pH of body fluids drastically. This prevents the cellular engines from burning on all cylinders reducing metabolic rate. So a combination of lack of exercise, which reduces oxygen, toxic acidic residues around the cell, infiltration of morbid microforms in and around the cell and a reduction of peak performance energy burning from the mitochondria engines, causes obesity to set in.

With the obesity problem in this country, what exactly does this excess weight consist of? The answer is fatty acids. However, the body does not dispose of unburned food. This unburned food or fatty acids are stored in fat cells until they can be burned at a later time through some form of aerobics. To a point it is a reservoir to later be burned, but later never comes and we keep adding to the fatty acid reservoir. Acid coagulates blood and there is not much blood flow around fat. Usually the capillaries around the acid accumulation are clogged up. These fatty acids generally form under the skin, especially around the waste line for men and around hips, thighs and breasts for women. When you compare the face of an old woman with a young woman, you can see the difference in the build up fat in the face of the older woman due to lack of blood flow therefore loosing elasticity. This build up of fat in the face takes place gradually over time.
True understanding of the process of aging and obesity will give you the incentive to drink alkaline beverages and eat alkaline foods that burn fast. Whatever it takes to help your body dispose of acidic waste slowly and steadily should be implemented.

Gastro-Intestinal Disorders Linked To Acidity
All stomach disorders, indigestion, nausea, gas, gastric reflux, are symptoms again that are caused by excess acidity in the gastric region. That is why antacids are prescribed. The neutralizing of acid through ingestion of alkaline water, alkaline foods and alkaline minerals, will help to alleviate the acid related intestinal disorders including ulcers without taking destructive antacids and ibuprofen.

Arthritis is Caused By Acidity
Many different forms of arthritis are the result of acid accumulation from the blood into the joints and wrists. It is this accumulated acid that damages cartilage and coats the cells that produce synovial and bursa fluids causing a dryness which irritates the joints, manifesting swelling. With detoxification coupled with an alkalizing diet, arthritis will disappear.

Gout Is Caused By An Acid Condition
Gout is an arthritic disease resulting from an excess of uric acid crystals in the blood from digestion of red meat, seafood, alcohol or poultry. The uric acid salts deposit in the surrounding tissues of the feet, hands and toes causing swelling and severe pain due to the broken glass like structure of the uric acid crystals especially in the big toe. The only solution in mainstream medicine for gout is deadly painkillers and anti-inflammatories, which are both acidic and further irritate the joints. Unfortunately, the joints have limited blood circulation to carry out the acid wastes. With an alkaline diet and increased circulation, gout will disappear.

Eye Diseases Linked To Acidity
We generally do not consider the change in our vision to an acid condition. As we accumulate phosphates and urates etc. in our cells, the cells loose more oxygen. This causes more unburned sugar in the cell that will bond protein molecules. The end result is that the cells and tissues get stiff, hard and inflexible. These calcium deposits collecting on the optic nerve or ganglia are called cataracts. Loss of vision and macular degeneration are the same.

Morning Sickness is Acid Related
When a woman gets pregnant, the fetus takes priority getting all the necessary alkaline minerals since the baby is born with the highest alkalinity. This means that while the mother is sleeping she looses alkaline minerals creating blood acidity. This phenomenon is known as morning sickness. By eating an alkaline diet and drinking alkaline beverages morning sickness will disappear. (Editor's Note: Some authors also believe that vegetables cause morning sickness as they contain toxins harmless to adults but toxic to fetuses. They suggest eating only fruit and carbohyrdrates).

Popular brand beer — 4.7 pH.
Distilled water —7.0 pH. Filtered tap water — 8.4 pH.
Fresh vegetable juice (greens) — 8.9 pH.
Alkaline water — 10.0 pH.

Blood with a pH value of 7.45 contains 64.9 % more oxygen than blood with a pH value of 7.3. An astounding difference for just a minor variance. Acidity of some soft drinks is caused by carbon dioxide, which is a waste product we breathe out. Carbonated beverages are a waste product, which the body rejects in the form of a burp. This is a double whammy. Not only do you shove a toxic residue down your throat when drinking them, these drinks are tilled with caramel coloring, phosphoric acid and ten teaspoons of sugar, which creates more of an acid environment and wipes out your immune system for up to four hours.
Human Body pH Fluid Values
Stomach juice (hydrochloric acid) — 1.5 pH.
Skin —4.7 pH.
Saliva —7.1 pH.
The cell — 7.1 pH.
Blood —7.35 to 7.45 pH.
Pancreatic juice — 8.8 pH.

When I talk about acidic or alkaline food, I am not talking I about how they taste. For example, oranges, lemons and limes taste acidic and have a pH of 3.5, but this acidity is generated by organic acids, which can all be burned away through digestion. However, inside these fruits there are alkaline minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium. Therefore, oranges, lemons and limes are considered to be an alkaline forming food. A large amount of potassium is found in organic soybeans, carrots, tomatoes and fruits such as apricots, avocados, bananas, dates, oranges and watermelon. Sodium and potassium also work with proteins, phosphates and carbonates to keep a proper balance between the amount of acid and alkaline in the blood.

Satan’s Assault Against The Blood
Everything revolves around an evil system creating acids to the blood. The life of the flesh is in the blood (Lev. 17:11). Satan is contaminating the bloodline with acids. Just look at some of the weapons he uses to take man out. Alcohol — acid. Cigarettes — acid. Coffee — acid. Sugar — acid. Carbonated beverages — acid. All of your fast food restaurants — acid with toxic congestive residues that are poison.
This is an evil ploy to acidify and contaminate the blood of God’s people. Daily we are assaulted with toxic industrial contaminants ranging from pesticides, herbicides, fossil fuels, fluorocarbons, acid rain, pollution, carbon monoxide, refined processed foods, sugar laden beverages, acid rock music, stress, anger, bitterness, etc. By getting us to ingest, drink and expose ourselves to an array of toxic chemicals that contaminate the blood, and by depleting the soil of alkaline minerals through corrupt farming practices, Satan is slowly taking mankind out.
As long as there are sufficient amounts of alkaline minerals in the body, poisonous acids are neutralized. There is a family of minerals that are especially suited to neutralizing, or detoxifying strong acids: sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. They exist as salts in our tissues and are highly alkaline. A healthy body maintains alkaline reserves by recruiting elsewhere if insufficient minerals are not available from the diet, such as bone (calcium), or muscle (magnesium). So if we get back to high alkaline, organic fruits and vegetables which have rich top soil, and farmers rotated their crops and didn’t use the acidic pesticides and herbicides, then we could alkalize the blood and keep the pH high and keep the reserves high enough to where the body is not going to be robbing Peter to pay Paul.

The Acid - Alkaline Battle In Our Bodies
This is a spiritual chemical battle going on 24 hours a day, every day in the blood and tissues. If you take the spiritual blinders off, you will notice that everything in this world is perpetrating an acid environment. God is trying to alkalize you and Satan is trying to acidify you. The battle between life and death and the struggle of humanity is between acid and alkaline pH. This so-called complicated spiritual battle for the physical body is as simple as that. Satan gives us acid music, acid foods, acid beverages, acid rain, acid emotions (anger; fear; bitterness, stress, anxiety, etc.), acid pharmaceuticals, acid recreational drugs (cocaine, heroine, ecstasy, LSD, etc.), acid pesticides, acid herbicides, acid fungicides, acid industrial products, acid exhaust (cars, planes, etc.), acid petroleum toxins and acid petroleum based chemicals, etc. This is spiritual warfare at the highest level.

What would combat or neutralize this assault to acidify mankind? Good clean air (oxygen), spiritual healing music, alkaline foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes), alkaline beverages (fresh pure water; herbal teas, fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices etc.), positive thoughts and emotions, following the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self control), exercise, fasting, being outdoors in the sun, herbs and natural whole food supplements, organic non-toxic cleaning products, etc.

When life is in the blood through living nutrients and the pH is in proper balance, death and disease cannot exist. Are you choosing death through an acid lifestyle or life through following God’s simple formula of alkalinity?

The Bible says that we have the choice between life and death:
“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” (Deuteronomy 31:19) Which are you going to choose?

Your healing is nigh you!

Joy to you on this Monday afternoon! We are in a season of Pentecost at my local church, The Church in the Now, where Bishop Jim Earl Swilley is the pastor. The Holy Spirit was there yesterday in such a tangible way and manifested His gifts and His power to the body.

I was thinking that there is a lot of healing that is needed in the body so I remembered last year when I was researching healing online, Joyce Mayer has completed a great work on healing. As the spirit of the Lord leads, I will be sharing, excerpts from this articles.

It is very powerful and if you read aloud your words will have power.

Here is a couple of pages for your edification;

HEALING
Proverbs 4:20-22 says, My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (KJV)
The Hebrew word for "health" in verse 22 is "medicine." God’s Word is medicine to all our flesh. Isaac Leeser’s translation of Exodus 15:26 reads, I the Lord am thy physician. The medicine He prescribes is His Word.
Many make the mistake of substituting belief in healing for the actual taking of God’s medicine – His Word. They say, "I believe in healing" without actually taking the medicine. What good would it do for you to believe in food if you didn’t eat it? You would starve. What good would it do for you to believe in water if you didn’t actually drink any? You would die of thirst.
God’s Word is His medicine. There are several parallels between God’s medicine and natural medicine.
First: God’s Word is a healing agent, just as natural medicine is a healing agent or catalyst. In other words, the medicine itself contains the capacity to produce healing. Inherent within God’s Word is the capacity, the energy, the ability, and the nature to effect healing in your body.
Psalm 107:20 – He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

The Word itself contains the power to produce what it says. Just as when God said, "Let there be light" and there was light, healing Scriptures contain within them the capacity to produce healing.

The key to partaking of the life and healing energy in the Word is feeding on it until it penetrates your spirit where it deposits that life and energy.

Second: We might say that medicine is no respector of persons. It will work for anyone who takes it. It is not a matter of if God is willing or not willing to heal any individual, but whether or not the individual will receive healing by taking the medicine that produces it.
Third, and most important: Medicine must be taken according to directions to be effective. Some medicine labels read, "Take internally"; others say, "Take externally." To rub it on your body externally when the directions say to take it internally will not work. To take it after meals when the directions say take it before meals will reduce its effectiveness. To take it once in a while when the directions say three times a day will mean limited results, if any. No matter how good the medicine is, it must be taken according to the directions or it won’t work. So it is with God’s medicine. It must be taken according to directions for it to work. The directions for taking God’s medicine are found in:
Proverbs 4:20-21 – Attend to them, incline your ear to them, don’t let them depart from before your eyes, and keep them in the midst of your heart.
We might say that attending to them, inclining your ear to them, and keeping them before your eyes causes the Word to get into the midst of your heart. Notice this: It is only as God’s Words get in the midst of your heart and stay there that they produce healing in your body. Head knowledge won’t do. They are going to have to penetrate to your spirit through meditation – attending, hearing, looking, muttering, musing, pondering – to produce healing in your body. But once they do penetrate, they will surely bring health to all your flesh. … let them penetrate deep within your heart. (Living Bible)
You can see again that God’s way of healing is spiritual. Power is ministered first to your spirit, then distributed to your body. God’s medicine must be taken internally. Listen, instead of wondering whether you have enough faith to be healed, just take the medicine. This handout contains Healing Scriptures. Feed on them several times a day, repeating them over and over again to yourself. The medicine itself will work if you will get it inside of you.
Fourth: Remember that it takes time for medicine to work. Most people give natural medicine a lot of time, patience, and money to work. They take the prescription back for refills and more refills. They are diligent about it. They don’t just take one dose and expect a miracle. Keep taking God’s medicine. Give it time to work.
Take your medicine. Say these Scriptures to yourself. Think on what you’re saying in your heart. Use them in praise to the Father. His Word is medicine to all your flesh.
Exodus 15:25-26 – And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. CONFESSION: "I will" is the strongest assertion that can be made in the English language. God is speaking to me now saying, "I will take sickness away from the midst of thee." God is watching over this Word, performing it in me now. He is taking sickness away from the midst of me. Good-bye, sickness! The Lord is taking you away from the midst of me. Thank You, Father, for taking sickness away from me. I thank You for doing what You said.

CONFESSION: The Lord is taking away from me all sickness. His Word contains the ability to do what it says. His Word will not return void but will accomplish what it was sent to do. The Lord is taking away from me all sickness, every trace of weakness and deficiency. Sickness is going out of me now. Thank You, Father, for taking away from me all sickness like You said.

Water and How it effects You

Water is the most foundational aspect of health. It is the single most important nutrient for our bodies as it is involved with every function in our bodies.

Did you know; 1) your body is about 70 percent water. 2) Your muscles are about 75% water 3) your brain cells are abut 85 percent water 4)Your blood is approximately 82 percent water and 5) Even your bones are about 25% water.

Because of the above percentages water will be addressed in this blog regularly, as you see it is critical that I address this topic for our health sake.

Many people don’t like water, don’t like the taste and will have nothing to do with clean water. Many people will drink coffee, soft drinks, ice tea and 10% juice not understanding that soft drinks and coffee is actually robbing their body of water and thereby doing them more harm than good.

The average adult male’s body is 62 – 65% water, and women have between 51- 55%. The reason men have more water is because generally have ore muscle mass where most woman have a higher amount of body fat.

Wonder why!!!

Did you know water is the most important nutrient for our bodies and is considered a “miracle cure” for man health conditions? Did you know headaches, back pain, arthritis, skin problems, digestion problems and other ailments can be scientifically linked back to the lack of clean water? Our bodies lose about two quarts of water a day through perspiration, urination and exhalation. So beloved, please don’t wait until you are thirsty to reach for water, you are probably dehydrated at that point.

Action of the day; Instead of reaching for a soft drink or iced tea or coffee, reach for a bottle of clean water. In F. Batmang-helidj, MD titled Water for Health, for Healing for Life He points out some benefits of maintaining your body properly hydrated.

· Water is the main lubricant in the joint spaces and helps prevent arthritis and back pain.
· Water causes the efficiency of the immune System.
· Water prevents clogging of arteries in the heart and brain, and thus helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke
· Water is directly connected to brain function and is needed for the production of hormones made by the brain, such as melatonin and can prevent attention deficit disorder (ADD)
· Water also helps prevent memory loss as we age, which reduces the risk of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and Lou Gehrig’s disease.
· Water affects our appearance, making our skin smoother and giving it sparkling luster; it also reduces the effects of aging.

The human intake of water should be 50% of your body weight daily (if you weight 100 pounds you should be taking in 50 ounces of water, every day). Medical facts from Don Colbert, MD book on “The Seven Pillars of Health.”

Behold the Lamb of God...

It’s not the bacteria or the viruses themselves that produce the disease, it’s the chemical by-products and constituents of these microorganisms enacting upon the unbalanced, malfunctioning cell metabolism of the human body that in actuality produce disease. If the body’s cellular metabolism and pH is perfectly balanced or poised, it is susceptible to no illness or disease.
So in other words, disease associated microorganisms do not originally produce a disease condition any more than a vulture produces a dead rabbit or rats produce garbage.
The diseased acidic cellular environment was created by a toxic diet, toxic environmental exposures and a toxic lifestyle supporting the morbid changes of germs to bacteria, bacteria to viruses, viruses to fungal forms and fungal forms to cancer cells in the body. This classical error of referring to symptoms as the disease is perpetrated to this day in all medical schools trickled down from the professors (whose bread is buttered by the pharmaceutical industry), to all med students with the intent of brainwashing the young, up and coming physicians to a kill mode mind-set and to be legal script writers and butchers who perform unnecessary surgical procedures.
The reason why all physicians are kept in the dark by medical schools teaching Pasteur’s germ theory is that if they are taught the truth that it’s the inner condition of the patient (i.e. oxygen depravation, nutritional deficiencies, acidic pH, built up toxins in and around the cells, poor circulation, toxic emotions, etc.), not the germs that creates the growth medium for bacteria, viruses, parasites or cancer cell growth, the majority of doctors would throw away their script pad and surgical knife and focus their treatment protocols on reestablishing a healthy cellular environment, which keeps the germs, bacteria and viruses in check.
By killing the viruses, bacteria or cancer cells with their destructive weapons of war, they trigger microzyma evolution that makes the enemy pathogens stronger by creating resistant strains reaping more disease in the future. Nobody correlates their newly formed disease a year later with the past drug therapy. The result if the truth was told, a multi-billion dollar sick care industry that has been meticulously built by the global elite for a century would be exposed and crumble like the Babylonian empire of old. There is no medical doctrine so potentially dangerous as a partial truth implemented as whole truth.
Because of political reasons, Antoine Bechamp’s name and research findings along with the germ theory controversy have been omitted from history, medical and biological books, even encyclopedias. It seems that the historical scientific assassination of Antoine Bechamp resulted in medical science’s monopolization of pharmaceuticals and vaccine research. This has meant untold misery for the human race. It’s ironic that Pasteur himself was reported to have admitted on his deathbed that Claude Bernard was right — the microbe is nothing, the terrain is everything, but would never give credit for Bechamp’s discoveries. Bechamp’s discovery in his early research, that all living things contain tiny granules, which he named microzyma’s, was the most profound discovery of the 20th century

Did you know that today is the sum total of our decisions we made yesterday! This is a theme I hear coming up in many conversations that I have been having in the last couple of weeks. God is confirming his word by His spirit to the body.

Paul said “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” remembering that Jesus said He has given us kingdom keys. We already have everything we need, it is up to us to develop our relationship with Him, to realize what He has set before us.

After, Jesus was on earth a short time, he stated that he had to go to the father, so that the Holy Spirit would come.

Everything we need today, the Holy Spirit has already given us the answer because He is the answer. I believe because the Holy Spirit lives in us, we have access to the answer to all of our concerns and problems for ourselves and the many situations around us.

The Lord himself has already put the answer in us, so we just have to get quiet and restful within our spirit man, so we can hear that still small voice. So in pondering your decisions today, have you put God first in submission to His Lordship over you and really sought His face?

I know God wants to have a relationship today with me and all of His creation and is concerned about every aspect of our lives, so I have to run to the mercy seat my situation today, as the Lord has put me in a place of total dependency on Him. It is not always the easiest place to be, but His word says the just shall live by Faith. I find that when I seek His face and not His hand, all the provisions flow supernaturally and I believe that the heart of God is that He deeply desires to have fellowship with His creation. He says if the we don't praise Him the rocks will cry out and praise Him.

What small thing can you do today to tap into the reservoir of living water that is already in you which has been in you since the beginning of foundation of this world?

Sometimes we have to take rest room breaks at work and put our hands up and say, thank you Holy Spirit for your presence or Help me Holy Spirit. We need a word from Him always. Often when I am praying I turn the CD's and radio off and just fellowship with God. He speaks to us if we would listen. You know I always hear folks talking about the still small voice and so for over 2 decades I have been studying other ways God speaks. He speaks through natural circumstances, through other people, He speaks prophetically, in dark places, in wilderness experiences, through open and closed doors and yes through the small still voice. Recently, I realize that if I would harken unto His voice, I would fare a lot better in this life. I realize sometimes after the fact, oh, God said that or God said this. I heard it but it is almost at the speed of light and because my mind is moving all over the place I almost missed God. God is so loving that he always comes back and redeems me, sometimes it is simply with a lesson well learned.

Man or woman can not live by bread alone, but every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

Since this past Sunday, Bishop Swilley has been ministering on the Holy Spirit and on Sunday we experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and people were filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking of tongues in some instances and empowerment of the Holy Ghost on many different levels. So, we are in a season of Pentecost and there is a great expectancy of the manifestation of God’s presence.

Last night at Wednesday night service Bishop focused on Rev. 19:11 which states that the spirit of prophesy gives a testimony of Jesus. Bishop made the analogy of the human body in that it is complex in nature but all of the organs are there and functioning properly in order for us to be healthy and functional in the earth. He went on to talk about the colon and the heart and truthfully he didn’t really want to see them in surgery or see his own blood, but he just knew the parts of him were doing exactly what God intended. He made the example of the Holy Spirit being in us,and the Holy Spirit doing exactly what it was meant to do in order for us to effective in this earth. It is not by might or by power but by God's spirit, says the Lord.

We have a paraclyte, a helper, a comforter, a counselor, a navigator, a friend, a small still voice that is the Holy Spirit on the inside of us. Beloved, do you know the Holy Spirit to walk with you in the cool of the day or in the heat of the battle?

I believe, we must get acquainted with the person in God known as the eternal spirit, the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit in a very real way. There are points in our week or our life and for me throughout the day, where I have to whisper, Holy Spirit please help me, now. You know what, He does. The word says if we draw nigh to him He will draw nigh to us which means he comes close to those who seek after Him.

This next paragraph is taken from Bishop’s prophetic Year in the Now for today. April 17;
'Today I will direct all of my efforts toward helping to make the kingdoms of this world the Kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. The Holy Spirit will be my guide and instructor in following Jesus as my example of authority, and righteous self-confidence. I will turn negative situations around for the good in His Name, refusing to be victimized in any way, because I am more than a conqueror!"

On my blog the Garden of Yve, my play list is playing Stevie Wonder, Pastime Paradise, where he lists that most people spend most of the life in the past dealing with issues of yesterday. Then of course, He offers what it means to spend their lives in the Future Paradise, but really in order for “US” (unified synergy) to make a true impact on this world we have to stay in the Now.

What are you doing today to change your mind (repentance) to bring yourself into the Now?

Brian Tracey says “You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you."

In Bishop’s book 20/20 Vision the XIX Affirmation is Today I will put closure to the pain of my past by being aware of how blessed I am today. (This is a great book with deep insights about “Changing your life by changing the way you see things”).

One last nugget, when we pray, we must believe that we receive when we pray! So we receive twice, once when we first pray and then when we receive.

In Matthews Gospel, Jesus teaching on prayer ended with "For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen" (Matt.6"13 NKJV.

Happy Saturday Fellow/Fella bloggerattis,

I have missed hearing from you this week and I pray that everyone and their loved ones are well! I am rethinking and praying about the Garden of Yve, however I know that it is God-breathed and so in obedience in him I will continue in what I believe is a viable ministry in which He will get the glory. Is there a ministry in your belly that God has been prompting you to do and you keep blowing it off? Just get started and then let us share with your victories, and overcome by the word of your testimony. Do you have a victory to share that can bless the body (spiritual or physical healing) - would you mind blogging to edify the body today!

As promised every week a different ministry will be highlighted for several reasons, first to give Glory to God, second to inform the body of Christ of resources, and last to give Kudos to a ministry who is serving the body in a tangible and real way. Faith without works is dead being alone and Faith worketh by Love. This week we are celebrating the following;

Ministry of the Week is Repairers of the Breach in Newton County, Ga; I was able to speak to Shirley Smith/founder of Repairers and she was very open about the expression of love God uses her in to bless the body of Christ community. Repairers of the Breach gives food donations to the needy, medical and prescription help for those in need who could not other wise afford the medicine, they own 22,000 sq foot thrift store on Washington Street, and there is one house that is used to shelter homeless men and one home for a homeless family to occupy. When asked what her main need is at the present time, she replied she was in need of a grant writer "because she knows that they could do so much more if they had funding". So for all of you grant writers or would be grant writer, this is a great opportunity for you to be a blessing to the body of Christ.

God's love is amazing

Today is April 9, 2008 in the Atlanta area and I have to tell you the weather is absolutely gorgeous. The birds are chirping and the trees are in full bloom and cherry blossoms, dogwoods, and azaleas are radiant with color. Oh, how I wish you could experience what I see in the natural.

God's unfailing love endures forever...when you think about how whole and complete God is, it blows one's mind. He thought about all the colors and the different clouds and rain and animal life and insects and people from every nation, every continent, every country and gave us this world to take dominion over. He put it all together after 6 days of creation (one day with the Lord is like a thousand elsewhere) and He said it was good! And it is good!

A couple of years ago, I returned to NY to attend my knephew's wedding after I had lived in Atlanta about 6 years by then and totally forgot how cold the north can be. So, we my daughter and I had lots of bright colors and sandals and well pedicured nails only to find that every one was wearing black and blue, except us. This is the his 4th anniversary this week and so I am reminded of that event. Even the toddlers and babies had navy blue jackets and black down jackets on and it was amazing to me how different regions have a totally different mindset, dress code, paradigm and how strange they believe "outsiders" are. Needless to say, everyone looked at us as though we just got off the proverbial boat because, well, we looked like tourist. Man, did we freeze.

Tht was a good lesson, never forget where you came from but embrace where you are now. Always, remember who you are and where you came from. Our history speaks to our direction or moving forward. As Bishop Swilley always says, we must honor the past, create the future and live in the now.

There is something so awesome about the uniqueness of embracing NOW. MLK, Jr. said in his speech, I have a dream that "we must understand the fierce urgency of now".

So, it is in the natural, it is the spirit first. Every day I get up and I submit the day to the Lord and ask for direction and you know when you are out there walking on the water, following Jesus, the flow can be kind of rocky and sometimes the flow is over the rapids but nevertheless I know I am still in His will even through the storms of this life. God's will is not our wants or our ways or our will. We just have to pray for God's will to be our will and enjoy the nowness of the moment.

I have such an excitement for the body of Christ (I am included in that and maybe it is because I go to the cooless church on the planet or maybe it is because I realize just how cool Jesus is or how good God is, but something good is right there in that cloud right above your finger tips, if you dare to worship and praise through it all. I just know there is a shifting in the spirit, I feel this very strong. The shift is for our good as we experience the love of God in such a real and tangible way. Bishop Swilley posted a blog today pertaining to Mahatma Gandhi not wanting to be a part of the Christian religion because he stated that many of us as Christians are not like Jesus Christ. Oh, how right he was. We have to change this paradigm. It is up to you and it is up to me.

I was probably one those who was bought to Jesus kicking and screaming to salvation because His name and face was so marred by traditional religion, at least in my family and earlier experiences. Then one day while I was sitting in McDonalds' on Fordham Road in the Bronx, some Christian brothers presented Jesus to me in such a sweet and gentle way. That was almost 30 years ago, I couldn't believe it. Actually, my best friend and I went along with it as a joke, we didn't initially take these guys seriously. We were urban cool teenagers and we thought, well they are Jesus freaks. Those guys in their simple, uncomplicated way lead us to the true and living God. Our lives changed right there on the spot.

We can have an altar call if necessary but we really need is an example walking around living the love of God to the world. What we all need is relationship, not religion. WE need relationship with God and with each other. That is the body of Christ being functional in the earth.

I just couldn't believe that experience, those "Jesus freaks" truly re-presented the real Jesus. This was the same Jesus that my aunts and uncles would scream whenever there was an accident, a tragedy or a death. They would moan and groan and cry and walk around screaming Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! Now I know He saves us to the uttermost and He keeps on saving us but they were a little over the top with this hysteria. Now, that I understand better, they were only depicting the Jesus they saw on the fans at church on in a funeral, they really didn't know him. The real Jesus doesn't come with shame and guilt and fear and I frankly was scared of him and His name, until I met the real Jesus!

I thought, this man is God, I mean was God, still is God. This person who is both the Son of God and Son of Man, part of the trinity - all three and yet one (what a mystery). Jesus, a friend,,,Jesus a servant,,,Jesus a brother,,,a shepherd, the chief cornerstone that the builders rejected, Jesus the Son, Jesus the King.

Jesus...my savior...who takes away the sins of the world...Jesus who took away my sins...Jesus who takes away my sins (NOW)...Jesus the lamb of God.

This simple conversation with these brothers over a cup of hot chocolate in McDonalds blessed multitudes of people by the simplicity of that seed, because after that time I began to re-present Jesus to my college professors and friends, my family and co-workers, prisoners, teenagers, neighbors and now the world through the internet. Did you know that one conversation can save so many, God's love is amazing.

We must show the world that we are His disciples by the love we have one for another. It is not enough any longer to just get mine or for you to just get yours. My grind, my home, my four and no more. That is error, we are the body of Christ, we are His hands and feet in the earth. How can we say we love God who we can not see and yet we hate our brother. Jesus said we are murderers if we hate our brothers or sisters.

People will use the word "Christian" and "Christianity" and "Ministry" and "Bible" as a license to mistreat, to manipulate and deceive and hurt others but beloved, Jesus is love, this ought not be.

His whole point of coming to earth was loving us right through the cruel cross and bloody crucifixation, conquering death after three days with all power in His hands. Jesus taught us how to live by example. WE do have hope for today because He lives.

What have you done in the earth today or this week to show true love to your neighbor or co-worker or roommate or relative that depicts the love of Christ today? It is not always easy to love but it is necessary to see God's kingdom come.

I believe Jesus is coming back when the restoration of all things are completed. WE must be restored to our momma and them and everyone else who we need to forgive who has hurt us. We have to forgive sins and not remit sins. WE want to release the beauty of love, the fruits of the spirits; joy, goodness, mercy, kindness, peace, faith, love, charity, humility and meekness into our day just as God releases the blooms, the bird chirps, children's laughter, the blue clouds, the sun and gentle breeze because after all we are made in His image and we are creators that the Creator created!

And this is a tough one - do you need to forgive someone today? Is there something on your mind today that you need to put to death at the foot of the cross? pH of the Human Body is Critical for Health

As you quietly read these words, a whirl of activity is taking place in every cell of your body. Every second, unseen, unnoticed, millions of new cells are reborn in your body’s ceaseless program of self-generation. Since cells are the bricks and mortar from which all living tissue and organs are made, to understand degenerative and metabolic disease you must become familiar with the miniature world of the cell and how they are able to perform baffling chemical transformations producing infinitely complex proteins, vitamins, hormones, neurotransmitters, growth factors, enzymes and metabolic energy called ATP.

A healthy body is determined by the health of each of its single cells. All disease originates at the cellular level and not at the organ or system level. Healthy cells create healthy tissues. Healthy tissues create healthy organs like the heart and lungs. Healthy organs create healthy systems like the endocrine system or the immune system and healthy systems make up a healthy body.

In the complex world of 75 trillion cells that make up your nation body, you are the President (the brain) that delegates the police force that protects and shields the cellular citizens from attack by foreign enemies; the cellular citizen’s work performance, transportation system, medical care, communication, food and water, and methods of toxic waste and trash removal. With your guidance and direction, the nation body will provide all the necessities for proper functioning as a whole. Your cell citizens come in all shapes, sizes and performance capabilities that manufacture an infinite variety of job tasks. Some reside in large cities that are your organs; others prefer to live in the outskirts in small towns away from the traffic - your fingernails for instance. But no matter where they reside, each cellular citizen has a purpose, an important duty for the good of the nation — your body.

So if the health of the cell is the answer, what constitutes a healthy cell? What you eat, drink, breathe and bathe in will either nourish the 75 trillion cells with oxygen, water, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, essential fatty acids (EFAs), glucose and amino acids, or contaminate the cells by the slow poisoning of the bloodstream. You see, what you breathe, whether oxygen or environmental contaminants ends up in the bloodstream. What you eat, whether living organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, legumes and seeds or refined, processed, foodless foods and toxic sugar laden drinks end up after digestion in the bloodstream. The bloodstream is a flowing river to all the cells for nourishment and removal of acidic waste residues. So, is your bloodstream a river of life or a river of death and disease?

For the Life of the flesh is in the blood..." (Lev. 17:11)

Cells are multifaceted. Some are like miniature electrical generators like a lithium battery. They all respire like a lung to bring in intelligent nutrients and remove toxic waste products. Cells are also manufactunng plants that synthesize hormones, neurotransmitters, proteins and life force. These cellular engines also communicate like a wireless fiber-optic network 24 hours a day. Our finite minds couldn’t possibly fathom or consciously control the extraordinary complex tasks of manufacturing, storage, repair, communication, transportation, police, waste disposal, administration, food production, temperature control and pH balancing that goes on in our body daily to the normally metabolized acids from body tissues and maintain health and vitality.

A picture metaphor of how the cells communicate would be to envision all six billion people on this planet picking up a wireless phone simultaneously and having a phone conversation. Now picture everyone clicking three-way and having a three-way conversation. Then picture everyone in the world clicking on conference call with total conversation capability of 1,000 different people simultaneously. The question is, does your cell phone have good reception to transmit and receive messages. Your intestinal cell phone talks to the skin. Your spleen cell phone talks to the thymus. Your heart cell phone talks to the liver. All organs and systems work in unison. No organ or system works alone, just as no nutrient works alone. So what is the regulatory authority that controls cell processes? The answer is pH.
The pH of your tissues and body fluids affects the state of your health or inner cleanliness or filth. The closer the pH is to 7.35 - 7.45, the higher you’re level of health and well being and your ability to resist states of disease and the onset of symptomologies.

The pH scale is like a thermometer showing increases and decreases in the acid and alkaline content of these fluids. (you can buy stripes over the counter for your information) Deviations above or below a 7.35 -7.45 pH range in the blood can signal potentially serious and dangerous symptoms or states of disease. When the body can no longer effectively neutralize and eliminate the acids it relocates them within the body’s extra-cellular fluids and connective tissue cells directly compromising cellular integrity.

Indeed the entire metabolic process depends on a balanced pH. As more acid wastes back up, and the body slowly stews in its poisonous wastes, a chronically over acidic body pH corrodes body tissue, slowly eating into the 60,000 miles of our veins and arteries like acid eating into marble. This is what science calls hemorrhage. If left unchecked, it will interrupt all cellular activities and functions from the beating of your heart to the neuro firing of your brain. Over acidification interferes with life itself, leading to all sickness and “dis-ease.” Fundamentally, all regulatory mechanisms, including breathing, ingestion, circulation, hormone production, neurotransmitter release, etc., serve the purpose of balancing pH by removing cells. When you eat food, it ferments, just the way a banana on your counter ferments from a green, to yellow, to brown, to black. The banana rots from the inside out, not from the outside in. That is why humans can look healthy from the outside but are rotting and decaying from the inside.

This is what the medical community refers to as degenerative disease. These morbid microforms produce potent acidic by-products, which further compromise pH and create disruption in the body’s biosystem. This process can involve further morbidity through bacteria, yeast, fungus and mold with subsequent serious life-threatening symptomologies. I would say that disease comes from the inside out and that the terrain or environment of the body is the catalyst for the development and progression of all disease. This does not preclude the contributing factors from external circumstances such as trauma, airborne microforms, air pollution, radiation, chemicals and drugs. These all provide negative acidic impressions but “dis-ease” arises within the cell in response to these impressions.

Sink Or Swim

Think of your body as a fish tank. Imagine the importance of maintaining the integrity of the internal flush of the body that we swim in daily. Imagine the fish in this tank are your cells and organ systems bathing in the fluids, which transport food and remove waste. Now imagine I back up my car and put the tailpipe up against the air intake filter supplying oxygen to the washy;ter in the tank. The water becomes filled with carbon monoxide lowering the pH, creating and acidic environment and threatening the health of the (fish), (your cells and organs). What if! throw in too much food or the wrong kind of food and the fish are unable to consume or digest it all and the food starts to decompose and putrefy? Toxic waste chemicals build up as the food breaks down, creating more acidic by-products, altering the optimal pH. This is a small example of what we are doing to our internal fluids daily, some of us more than others. We are polluting our internal fluids with acidic toxins like nicotine, drugs, excessive intake of acid forming foods, acidic beverages and social drugs such as coffee, carbonated beverages and alcohol, which all compromise the delicate balance of pH that maintains homeostasis. Some of us have fish tanks (bodies) that are barely able to support life, yet
we somehow manage to struggle from day to day manifesting severe imbalances until there is the inevitable crash and debilitating chronic, disturbing, and diseased symptomology to deal with a life-threatening illness in a hospital somewhere.

Bodily Responses That Fight To Maintain

All metabolic processes, including immunity, depend on a delicately balanced pH, which harmonizes electromagnetic energies. The body constantly fights to maintain a blood pH at around 7.35 -7.45 much like our internal thermostat that tries to maintain a 98.6-degree body temperature. There are seven homeostatic adaptation responses that fight to maintain this pH balance.

1) Using high pH bodily fluids such as water as a solvent to neutralize acid residues.
2) Pulling bicarbonate from the pancreas into the blood (an alkalizing agent). Bicarbonate ions are generated into the blood cells from carbon dioxide and diffuse into the plasma.
3) Protein buffers of glutathione, methionine, cystine, taurine, just to name a few, act as buffers intra-cellularly to bind or neutralize acids during cellular disorganization.
4.) Electrolyte buffers of sodium, calcium and potassium work in the blood, lymph, and extra-cellular and tracellular fluids to bind acids, which are then removed through the urine.
5.) Pulling stored calcium and magnesium from skeletal bones and teeth to neutralize blood acids.
6.) Filtration and elimination of acidic residues through the skin, urinary tract and respiration.
7.) Pushing blood acid residues and accumulated toxins into outer extremities as a storage bin away from vital organs. The wrist, joints, fingers, toes and skin are the major target areas to keep the toxins from saturating internal vital organs like the heart and lungs.

When all seven-protection phases are overwhelmed, the end result is accumulated acid residues at the cellular level, which drown out oxygen. With this acidic, low oxygen terrain, the microzyma’s (small ferments) trigger morbid microbe infiltration of fungus, molds and parasites, cancer cells, etc., where they seek the diseased acid terrain as food. (Editor's note: The term "microzyma" was created by Antoine Bechamp. These are small living components of cells and are described more fully later in this article ).

As these organisms feed, they produce waste just like you do. Their urine and feces are called mycotoxins, which are very poisonous to humans. Being acids themselves, mycotoxins greatly worsen the acidity caused by an acidic diet and toxic acid emotions. They are spilled into the blood as well as inside cells, where they cause free radical damage to the genetic material of the cell eventually causing cell death. The dead necrotic cells also spill out acid wastes. The blood poisoning results in more cell and tissue poisoning furthering the disturbance of the microzyma triggering morbid forms of yeast, molds and viruses, which disrupts body chemistry causing disease to the systems. So it’s a vicious cycle. One acid condition creates anothet Acidic diet coupled with toxic acid emotions creates an acid pH to the cells. This causes low oxygen levels (hypoxia), which is necessary for keeping back destructive anaerobic microbes and immuno-suppression is the result. Then medical doctors come in and treat the acid condition with another acid (pharmaceuticals).

Pharmatceuticals Create Acidity, Not Alkalinity

What pharmaceutical drug neutralizes acids and increases pH? NOTHING!!! What pharmaceutical drug addresses nutritional deficiencies, especially alkaline minerals? NOTHING!!! What pharmaceutical drug boosts or enhances the immune system? NOTHING!!! And how could they? They’re poisonous and destructive, not nutritive and constructive. Pharmaceuticals are acid. How can you treat an acid condition with acid? That’s like trying to cure someone who accidentally drank poison with another poison.

The fact is all (most) doctors are drugging the symptoms of acidity (due to toxicities) and drugging the symptoms of nutritional deficiencies. Headaches, nausea, fever, skin rashes, brain fog, severe tiredness, gastric bloating, angina pain and dizziness are the body’s intelligent warning signals of a cellular engine problem due to an acidic pH in an organ or system.
Symptom suppression with “anti” medication is analogous to snipping the wire to a blinking oil light on your car’s dashboard and thinking that you fixed your engine instead of lifting up the hood and putting oil in your engine so the light goes off.

Disease and symptoms are separate entities. Medical science teaches they are one and the same and by killing the symptom you somehow kill the disease. This absurd, twisted pseudo science originated and continues from the germ theory that was perpetrated by Louis Pasteur in the 1930’s and has continued to this day in all medical school training with little to no opposition. This brain-dead mentality of looking at symptoms as the disease has been going on since the indoctrination of medicine seven decades ago. In their ignorance, they’re creating their own business by shoving the disease deeper into a chronic state that will eventually require more radical procedures of butchery and mutilation because they never address the acid state of a patient or the direct cause to disease. God did not make us with surplus body parts.

Often times in today’s world of medicine and pharmaceutical monopoly, scientific proof comes under the titles of who wants it most, how much can you pay and how fast do you need it. Being an independent experiential research scientist myself, it’s blatantly clear that scientists findings are based upon personal philosophies, or who is signing their paycheck, rather than on truly scientific verifiable fact. The religious community has accepted and practiced the teachings of the worldly authorities (government, science, medical, agribusiness, religion, etc.) as truth. As a result, they live in constant violation of almost every fundamental principle of life God established when it comes to nourishing the body/temple and how we should live here on earth.

We blindly accept as fact the medical profession’s teaching as to why we get sick. Then we accept their drugs, chemotherapy, radiation and surgery as the only means of treating the sickness which makes us sicker and exhausts our savings, slowly killing us. Yet, we never question the validity of their teachings. We violate God’s principles by what we feed our bodies and minds and then when they break down, we violate God’s principles again on how we get well. The physician cuts out the body part or poisons the temple with a prescription drug, chemotherapy or radiation instead of reestablishing health to the patient, which is the only way to reverse disease.

So what is defiling our temple bodies? The simple answer is; any substance ingested that is not part of the structure of the human body. Let’s look at the sixth day creation that characterizes what this biochemical machine is made of ..."And the LORD God formed man of the Dust of the Ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life : and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7
To verify the scriptures in scientific findings, if you examine a decomposed body buried in the soil for decades you will find the tissue remains truly that of the dust of the ground (soil based elements). So here we have a book written thousands of years ago telling us that the building materials of man are derived from the elements contained in the earth and atmosphere. Science has only recently discovered through lab analysis and graphite furnace what the Bible has been telling us for millennia. It is clear that man is made up of primarily airborne elements 96% (breath of life), oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen while the remaining elements, about 4%, come from the earth (dust of the ground), potassium, magnesium, calcium, silver, copper, gold, etc.
The Bible repeatedly confirms that God used these building materials from the mineral kingdom and atmosphere in making man and these same alkaline elements are necessary for maintaining blood, tissue and cell alkalinity. So in short, sickness and disease are simply our beautiful, God - created bodies reacting to the foreign things we are exposing them to through breathing, eating, drinking and bathing in acidic, toxic substances that damage the cells and immune system through time.

Our God is a God of simplicity not complexity. If anything in this world is built on confusion, chaos and mystery, it is not of the LORD, it is of the evil one. What do you think the medical profession is built on? Confusion, chaos and mystery. They get you to believe that there are 1001 different diseases for economic reasons when there is only one disease — a disease condition to a weak organ or system. This article is based on the simplicity of reversing all disease processes by changing body pH naturally by doing it God’s way as opposed to man’s way, which is short lived and destructive.

The Bible says in Romans 12:2 “Be not conformed to this world” and yet the average person in their ignorance has conformed to this world in almost every area that deals with physical life. In disobedience and laziness, we pay an extremely heavy penalty that is the cause of most of the prayer requests in churches.

Pasteur’s Germ Theory Is A Hoax
The adoption by science of Louis Pasteur’s germ theory* as the whole truth, (that germs and pathogens are the direct cause of most disease), without regard to the deep insight of Antoine Bechamp’s microzymian principle, (that the acidic condition of the patient's cellular environment creates disease), marks one of the most dramatic and dynamic turns of events in modern history. This article will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that modern orthodox microbian medicine arose upon scientific error, on the kill mode mindset. Kill the bacteria, kill the virus, kill the fungus, and kill the tumor, which has played a major role in the promotion of illness by the creation of resistant strains of bacteria and the suppression of symptoms, not the reversal of illness. The last paragraph is the writer's editorial and does not reflect my viewpoint, however I believe Dr. Gary Tunsky is making very valid points and the majority of his information is sound and confirms most articles and information I have studied. The ph balance of our body is extremely important to prevent many critical dis-eases and because of lack of knowledge we are perishing. WE must study to find out information pertaining to this important subject, going forward.

1 What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he's up to.
2-3But friends, that's exactly who we are: children of God. And that's only the beginning. Who knows how we'll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we'll see him—and in seeing him, become like him. All of us who look forward to his Coming stay ready, with the glistening purity of Jesus' life as a model for our own.

For God so loved the worldme that He Gave His only begotten Son, that if I would believe in Him, I would not perish, but would have everlasting life. For God, did not send His Son to me to condemn me, but that I through Him, might be saved (John 3:16, 17)

The way we know we've been transferred from death to life is that we love our brothers and sisters. Anyone who doesn't love is as good as dead. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know very well that eternal life and murder don't go together.

This is how we've come to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves. If you see some brother or sister in need and have the means to do something about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God's love? It disappears. And you made it disappear.
When We Practice Real Love

My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the only way we'll know we're living truly, living in God's reality. It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.

And friends, once that's taken care of and we're no longer accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold and free before God! We're able to stretch our hands out and receive what we asked for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him. Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ. He told us to love each other, in line with the original command. As we keep his commands, we live deeply and surely in him, and he lives in us. And this is how we experience his deep and abiding presence in us: by the Spirit he gave us. (1 John 3:14-24 - Message)

Because of God's love, I will suffer long and be kind and I will not envy, will not parade myself and will not let myself be puffed up nor will I behave rudely, nor look out only for my own best interest, I will not be easily provoked, or think evil about others, I will not rejoice in iniquity, but will rejoice in the truth ..will bear all things and believe all things and endure all things (1 corinithinas 13:4-8).

Supplying the needs of God's people

The body in action is when we are functioning appropriately and each joint of the body supplying the other joints of the body according to the New Testament. We are an example of the New Testament church in action, not just CITN but the other churches connecting. Bless the name of the Lord!

In the New International Version 2 Corinthians 9:12 says “This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”

I believe that when you serve, bless, give to others it is an act of worship to God. I understand that this level of service is what is required of us to function properly in the body. Beloved, there are so many avenues we can use to be a blessing to others, sometimes it is as simple as listening to a problem, being instant in season to pray, interceding or standing in the gap, caring about an issue. It is not always monetary, it can be helping someone with their resume or helping someone pack or fixing a meal (or buying one) at the time of illness or death but mostly being sensitive to our sisters and brothers in the body. Let us serve each other knowing that in doing so, we are giving thanks to God.

13”Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.” I hear the lyrics of one of Israel & New Breed song and in part that goes like this…Oh, that men will praise His name, will Praise His name ‘til the ends of the earth…And it is repeated…Oh, that men will praise His name, will Praise His name ‘til the ends of the earth…..REJOICE in the Lord always, and again I say, again I say REJOOOOOOICE!!!!!!

Have you ever noticed that when people pray for you they are thanking God for your obedience when you are in service to the Lord? I just keep hearing it; I thank God for your obedience. Well, I never understood until today that men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them. This is scripture and it is very cool, they are thanking you as you are thanking God through your acts or service. That is good news or the evangel, you are presenting your bodies as a living sacrifice and then to top it off, God is being blessed by your life and by your giving. Then in verse 14 and 15, Paul goes on to say God’s grace causes their prayers because of his indescribable gift! Giving is a gift and it is part of our service to the body.

14And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

I can’t really tell you why the Holy Spirit is ministering this today to you but I do know that God is dealing with the body a very real way about service to Him and to the body, as you will see is reflected in my writings this week.

Ministry of the Week in Newton County is Solid Rock Baptist Church: This beautiful outreach is available for the residents in Newton County to come and get food at the pantry named Rockmart (a nice play on words) for a nominal donation of $8.00. There is food for those who have no money but the $8.00 will get you about a week’s supply of food for a family of 2 or 3. Also, there is a free medical clinic on Thursday between 6 pm or 8pm. What a blessing to the body. I met several very sweet people and Ann (volunteer) and I was able to pray and minister to each other. So, I believe the Holy Spirit is mending the churches in the unity of the body. WE are one church, one body, in one spirit...The full address and phone numbers are as follows;

Living Water today!

You Have Living Water

I pray God’s blessing of spiritual rain on you today, that the living water of God will flow down on your household, your family, your health, your prosperity, your physical body and your spiritual life. This morning when taking my shower, I was just so grateful for the warmth of the water to clean my body. Often times we take so much for granted, a comfortable bed, carpeting under our feet, a warm shower and soap to use…however beloved, we must not take God or our many benefits for granted that we have as Christians. God is so good to us and I just believe that I should maintain an attitude of gratitude at all times, the word says I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth!

I have had the opportunity to be homeless in someone else’s home, if you understand what I mean. After a difficult divorce, I moved to my family’s home where I found myself in sort of wilderness state. Although I believed I would find refuge there with my family, I instead was launched into ministry because of this wilderness. I found myself being treated like a homeless woman and my children were also treated poorly without cause. Though I didn’t know it at the time I was residing with a relative who I loved very dearly and who was in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. Unfortunately she decided to go out of town and to turn the water off and therefore we had no running water. Therefore I had to go to a neighbor’s home and get gallons of water every day to cook, clean and for bathing. After being a native New Yorker who then lived in Baltimore for 7 years, I was not used to genuine country living nor did I think I would ever be without running water. Well this little adventure went on for about a month and half way through it, I said to the Lord “Now Lord, you promised to supply all of my needs according to your riches in Glory, and Lord you know that water is a need”…and no sooner did I state this I heard the Lord say… “YOU HAVE WATER”. I thought, hmm, I have water, I repeated aloud and just like that I believe I heard the Lord say... “YOU
HAVE LIVING WATER”

The Holy Spirit is living water and beloved if we would allow him to rain on us and flow in our homes, our ministries and our jobs and in every area of our lives we will never thirst!

The following article will be my first installment in the importance of a healthy digestive system! FYI the average person has between 5 and 22 lbs of old fecal matter in their bodies. The good news is that there are many health problems that can be avoided with a healthy digestive system. Healthy digestion needed to sustain life

Digestion is the complex process by which our food is converted into energy. It actually begins when we see and smell food and it continues as we chew, mixing the food with saliva to begin the breakdown of carbohydrates. Basically, digestion breaks down nutrients in the food we eat into small molecules that can slip into the bloodstream and be carried to the areas of the body where they are needed or stored.

Since the fuel our bodies need to sustain life comes through digestion, keeping the digestive system healthy is of great importance. We need many nutrients to keep the digestive system in good working order, and a basic balanced diet is the place to start. The greatest part of our food should be whole grains or whole-grain products and fruits and vegetables, with smaller amounts of eggs, meat, and dairy products. Adequate water and fiber are necessary for proper digestion and elimination. Relaxation and exercise also contribute to digestive function.

Digestive enzymes are important for the whole process. There are three classes of digestive enzymes: amylase, protease and lipase. Amylase is needed to digest carbohydrates. Protease is required for protein digestion and lipase is needed to digest fat. The body supplies enzymes on its own, but as we age the body’s capacity to make enzymes can diminish.
Dietary supplementation of course, is a supportive way to nourish the digestive system. A solid, comprehensive digestive enzyme formula can be very helpful in replenishing the stores of enzymes that the body needs for good digestion. Take an enzyme supplement just before mealtime for best results.

Maintaining healthy pH levels is also of utmost importance. Watch for a new unique formula that combines natural coral calcium with vitamins C and D to soothe the digestive system and assist in maintaining proper body pH.

I also take a liver cleanser a couple times a week, and a probiotic and fiber on a daily basis. I do that to keep my intestines cleansed and to help my body stay clean on a cellular level. This the day the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it...Everyday is God's day and everyday we need to find joy inside of the day because we are re - joy..cing. Joy is from the inside out. We are God's hands and feet in the earth so that means we have dominion and as ambassadors, we are re-presenting the Christ to lost world. The Creator created creators so let us go through this day, creating life and bring light and salting our sphere of influence. Serve somebody

Almost everyday over the past week, I have been involved in some form of service to the Lord and to the body. I also have had conversations about what service means. When I was still in corporate America, I developed a customer service module which broke down what true service is. It talked about the definition of what true service was, putting the needs of the customer first, being attentive to what the customer was saying and being patient as we served and of course making our customers the total focus of the moment.

Well, so it is in the spirit, to serve or to have a church service or a ministry means to patiently wait on God first and then your brother or sister as yourself. Ministry means to "meet the needs" of whoever or whatever! It is not that complicated. We all have at least one of the gifts as described in the bible! Some of us are blessed with more than one gift. Those gifts are to be used to serve the kingdom of God. The good news says that the kingdom of God is not easily observed! God's kingdom is made of subjects, and we are the subjects in the kingdom, we are in fact the kings of the king. But back to the subject of serving, there are many different ways to "serve" while we are "waiting" on God! Many times I find myself "waiting on God" but really he is waiting on me to be a king (queen) in the earth and to take that dominion that he gave me from the time of the "garden". We don't always know where or what or who or why, we just know as we go.

In the holy ghost there is joy (which is eternal) and as we are waiting on God, we move and breath and have our being, and we do! Do what you say, whatever your hand finds to do, do that as unto the Lord. For those of us who are filled with the spirit, we have in us something similiar to a metal detector, where we just are simply led by the spirit of God. We really don't always know, but we continue to go and eventually we will know, if that is making sense.

Today I heard this very stirring service about service and using your gifts and spiritual men and women can't really be judged by man. Only God can truly judge us, but it is important to examine our selves or lives and be careful to confess our sins and not regard any inquity in our heart, to keep our heart pure so we can go boldly to God's throne, to the mercy seat and stretch our arms to the Lord and say "so be it unto me Lord, according to your word". I understand the necessity of working in the church under some of the established ministries but sometimes you have water/walkers way out in the water, so far away from the shore, that they are walking in different gifts in their local church, in their community, in their home...wherever....lighting and salting...serving...and working...and waiting...and loving...and ministering...in Jesus name.

I thank God for the local church and I actually believe I came from Va, via Maryland, via New York to come to a place named Conyers, Ga. to be part of this great lighthouse set on a hill for the world to see. However, Iknow that I am peculiar. That brings me to something funny, one of my sister's said to me recently when speaking of another sister, that she thought she was strange. I laughed and laughed and she said "Well, what are you laughing at" and I said, I am strange too, for that matter, so are you, why do you think we are friends! She said, honey, you are right, I guess we are strange. Sometimes I think we just take ourselves way too serious and we don't understand how God is using our "strangeness" of peculiar ways to be that royal priesthood the word speaks about.

In Romans 12 the word speaks of us as being, living Sacrifices to God. Verse 1 /I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Jesus already was an atonement and offering for our sins, he did what we couldn't do. Isaiah is clear when it states that Jesus was a guilt offering for us. We just need to do the presenting of our bodies...which is our reasonable service.

Have you sat by a sister in church who is depressed and you said I will pray for you! No, pray now, be instant in season. Do you know someone who has a need you can meet, and look the other way. You are blessed to be a blessing. Be a blessing...everything in your hand or possession comes from God anyway, the ability to get wealth is the part of the covenant, not the wealth, so it is the Lord that gives so you can give.

As you see, I am pretty fired up this Sunday afternoon, we had a birthday celebration at Church in the Now for Bishop Jim Earl Swilley 50th BD. Did you know 1958 was the advent of the Hula hoop! So, all the babies born in 1958 (that me, October 22) received a Hula hoop! We have to play and enjoy our life, our church, our family,our friends and of course God.

You have to serve somebody, who are you serving today!

Body Ministry Now!

Beloved,

In this new blog, my desire is for the Holy spirit to breath on "US" = Unified Synergy (coined by my Bishop, Jim Earl Swilley) with a fresh and new anointing for each new day. It is my prayer to be able to impart prophetic words, revelation, interesting trivia, facts on nutrition pertaining to herbs, supplements, vitamins that can be of benefit to the Church body and any other godly media that gives God glory. Quite often I find myself consulting and helping the body with information on nutrition which has been a great help to their natural man (the body). I believe this to be a great forum where we can glean and share information from each other in an responsible manner to empower the kingdom of God! Ministry simply means "to meet the needs" and often times if we are to truly function as a "healthy body" we all have to do our share as in being our brother's keeper!

I could have titled this blog "Body Ministry" as it is ministry to different areas of the body. Recently in a corporate intercessory prayer setting, it came to our attention, that there were people in the room who needed one on one "body ministry" and as the Holy Spirit allowed us to be sensitive to the needs, he used us to do what we do which is to "P A C"/pray, act and care. Faith without works are dead being alone and faith works by love. So, as you may understand by NOW, this is from one member of the "body" to the rest of the body giving a shout out for participation and for a demonstration of love. If we give our bodies to be burned and don't have love...

Why the name Garden of Yve? Well, for several of reasons, the Lord gave me that name for a ministry some time back. Also, the word garden reminded of the word variety or diversity which I embrace with many different experiences, friendships, relationships as well as many different skills, gifts, talents God has afforded me! Microsoft Encarta Library defines garden: planted area of ground: a plot of ground where plants such as fruits, vegetables, and flowers are grown. Well, another name for ground is earth...thou kingdom come in (on) earth (that is "US"/unfied synergy) as it is in heaven. So as each joint supplies to the rest of the body...our garden should produce fruits, vegetables and flowers where a plethora of ideas, visions, hopes, prayers, godly desires can be expressed and planted! I thought this to be perfect since we were to have full discussions about herbs and supplemtns

Yve was just a play on words, since my birth name means mother and many of you may know that "Eve" means first mother or a woman with maternal qualities hence the name Garden of Yve. Please don't be mistaken, this is for men also, so be advised God is no respector of persons, you are welcome here! And pass it on, let people know we are here!
